I hope my entire steemit family is doing well. I hope all my steemians are having a great time enjoying the summer 🏝️ 🌞 days. I am doing good too and the hot summer days are treating me well. You know why I am here ? I am super excited to participate in the contest hosted by my dear lady @suboohi . I am grateful for the opportunity to share my knowledge on a balanced diet thought provoking topic. Let's get started with the post.

What do you understand by a balanced diet?

Well steemians, in my point of view a healthy diet is a diet that maintains overall health. Friends, A diet is all that we consume in a day. It is an eating plan that provides our body with important nutrients , vitamins and minerals to maintain good health. It mostly includes a variety of foods from different groups like fruits , vegetables , whole grains , lean proteins and healthy fats. Guys, The aim of a balanced diet is to provide energy. It supports our growth. It prevents the risk of chronic disease. By eating a balanced diet , we can support our mental and physical health. It fosters overall health and well being. It also prevents the risk of illness and disease. It's all about eating right. We should follow the healthy habits to keep ourselves healthy.

Effects of diet on overall health.

A diet can have important effects on overall health , both positivity and negatively. Some of them are :

Positive Effects Of A Healthy Diet:
  • It supports weight management.
  • It prevents the risk of chronic disease like heart disease, diabetes and certain cancer.
  • It boosts energy levels.
  • A healthy diet supports healthy skin , hair and nails.
  • It supports immune function.
  • It promotes healthy digestion.

Negative Effects Of Unhealthy Diet:
  • It increases the risk of chronic diseases like heart disease, diabetes and obesity.
  • It causes nutrient deficiencies.
  • It also causes digestive problems. I also faced that problem for many weeks.
  • It has affects on mental health like anxiety or depression.
  • It contributes to weight gain or loss.
  • It impacts skin and hair health.

What diet do you prefer for your health care?and why?

Friends , Due to stomach issues I follow a diet plan. Here is the diet plan , I am sharing with you next :

  • Drink plenty of water. I drink almost eight to twelve glasses of water a day. Friends, As my doctor advised me to stay hydrated and drink plenty of water.
  • I should not skip my breakfast.
  • Well , I prefer to eat vegetables especially dark green vegetables.
  • I must avoid fast food and bottles. I love eating fast food , but I try to avoid it.
  • I add whole grains to my diet. At least two or three times daily.

  • Eating fish , eggs and meat is a healthy diet.
  • Eating fruits and drinking fresh juices.
  • We have to consume less salt or sugar.
  • I must eat salad in the afternoon.

I prefer this diet because it is beneficial for my health making me feel healthy and active.

Any diet suggestion on your experience that makes you healthy.

On the basis of my experience, my diet suggestions that can make us healthy. We should eat a simple and natural diet. This can help us to stay healthy. Friends, We should eat more fresh and seasonal fruits, vegetables and whole grains like brown rice. We also drink enough water every day at least 8 glasses. We avoid too much sugary, oily food and soft drinks. Eating on time is also very important. We try to have breakfast every morning because it gives us energy and makes our day good. Home cooked foods are better than fast food. Sometimes, we add dry fruits like almonds for more strength. This kind of diet keeps us active, fresh and happy. It also helps in keeping the body strong and the mind sharp.

Balance diet known to be food which contains the necessary nutrient for man's growth, also providing a healthy lifestyle. Early this morning I ate akara and pap. You can view the akara on my post. It is rich in protein, made from beans. My mother often give us this to eat regularly on Saturdays. Luck in balance diet can cause a body to malfunction and also lead to malnutrition,it is advised that we consume food which in protein to remain strong and healthy.
