Greetings friends how are you all doing today I hope all is well and you all are having a nice and wonderful day, today I will be taking part in a contest organize by @abdullahw2 which is titled "Importance Of Hydration In Summer"


Why is staying hydrated more important in the summer than other seasons?

I don't know if I'm always the only one feeling this, during dry season my urge to drink water will increase up to about 30% and sometimes I will be walking around with a little bottle of water just to stay hydrated.


In the dry season generally the weather ☁️ is always very hot due to steady sun light with little to no rain, so as a result of that the heat we experience will dehydrate our body and in other to stay hydrated we need to drink enough water.


The urge to staying hydrated during summer is as a result of the scarcity of rain which leads to the increase in the heat in our environment.

How much water do you try to drink daily in the summer? Do you follow any routine?.

Following a strict water-drinking r that is impossible for me, especially in summer. Water and I become close friends; I sometimes wake up wake up to drink water and even pour some on my head because my room is very hot.


For comparison, I sometimes I can even drink up to 4 liters of water a day, or even more, during summer, but I don't always measure it, so I'm not certain.


What are your favorite hydrating foods, drinks or beverages during hot weather?

Well for my favorite drinks or beverages it is none other than water because it is the only liquid that is capable of keeping the body hydrated, but my favorite food that normally helps in keeping me hydrated during summer is soup, yeah during summer I prefer to eat soup more than other food like beans, rice, noodles etc because it is liquid and it helps to keep me hydrated.

How dehydration affects our body? And how to overcome that situation?

Feeling dehydrated is one of the most mild but dangerous feelings ever, water is very important to the body because even the human blood is made up of 95% water which is called "the plasma"


Some of the effects of dehydration to the human body are;


  • Dehydration leads to reduce in urination
  • Dehydration leads to fatigue and overall body weakness
  • Dehydration leads to dryness of the mouth and lips
  • Dehydration leads to Dizziness and lightheadedness which is the process of feeling unsteady and like fainting

Amongst that and many more are some of the effects of dehydration to the body, so therefore for the purpose of keeping the body hydrated we must endeavor to drink enough water on a daily basis and remember that water doesn't only help in hydration but it also helps in smoothening digestion.
