Hello friends,
I’m happy to take part in this delicious fruit contest sponsored by @abdullahw2.

Let’s get started!
What’s your favorite fruit and why do you like it?
My favorite fruit has always been the orange, especially when they’re sweet and juicy.

My own photo
I like oranges for many reasons — they’re such a versatile fruit.
I can eat them on their own, as juice, in salads, in desserts, and more.
I love citrus fruits in general, and oranges in particular have this special mix of sour and sweet flavors that makes them so pleasant.
Here in Caxias do Sul, you can find really sweet ones, which is a big plus.
Another big reason I love them is that when I eat them on an empty stomach in the morning, they help me with constipation naturally because they’re rich in fiber.
They’re also an excellent source of vitamin C, which strengthens my immune system and helps me stay healthy—especially during colder seasons, like now that winter is coming.
I also enjoy oranges because they’re refreshing, hydrating, and give me energy without needing anything artificial. And I love their smell when I peel them.
Do fruits play a role in your diet? Do you eat them often? Tell us why.

Grapes are super healthy
I eat fruit quite often, especially during my morning and afternoon snacks.
Many fruits like papaya, orange, pineapple, and grapes are essential in my diet because I struggle with constipation, and they help me stay regular.
In this region of the country, oranges are everywhere. Orange trees grow in many home gardens, so it’s very easy to get them fresh.
Have you ever experienced any health benefits from eating fruit regularly?
Yes, like I said before, I deal with constipation and fruits help me a lot.
They also help cleanse my skin and keep me healthy overall.
I truly believe one of the biggest contributors to my improved health has been eating fruit in the right way. I often use fruits for tea as well.
I eat them in different forms, but always try to keep it natural so they benefit my health instead of harming it.

My favorite section of the supermarket
For example, I eat pears and apples with their peel — of course, well-washed — because I try to get all the fiber they offer.
And my favorite fruit, orange, I always eat it on its own.
When I make juices, I avoid adding sugar. That’s why, with oranges, I look for naturally sweet ones.
Even so, juice should be consumed in moderation since blending reduces some of the fiber, and I try to drink it freshly made.
Do you enjoy fruit-based desserts, drinks, or smoothies? If so, tell us about it.
Yes, I love natural fruit juices. I often make an orange dessert with cornstarch that’s both affordable and easy to prepare.
I also make lots of papaya smoothies and mango and pineapple juices for lunch.
And I love apple custard or compote — here’s a delicious recipe I want to share:
🍎 Homemade Apple Compote Recipe
✅ Ingredients:
- 4 apples
- 1/2 cup of water
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
👩🍳 Instructions:
Peel and cut the apples into small cubes or thin slices (remove the core and seeds).
Put them in a small pot with the water and lemon juice.
Cook over medium heat for about 15–20 minutes, stirring regularly.
Once they’re soft, mash them with a fork or blend them if you prefer a smoother texture.
Add the cinnamon and, if you like, a little bit of honey or sugar.
Let it cool — and that’s it!
TIPS:
- Lemon juice prevents browning and adds a nice flavor.
- I like to add a bit of cinnamon, but that’s optional.
- You can enjoy it on its own for breakfast or dessert.
- Also great with granola!
Fruits will always be a healthy and delicious option for snacks and throughout the day.
Best wishes!
