It feels good to be here once again to participate in this contest that I already find interesting. A big thanks to the organizer @abdullahw2 who has thoughtfull come up with this contest.
Okay guys! Let's get right into the contest even as I explore the contest hint.

How many hours of sleep do you usually get each night, and do you think it’s enough?

We have been told by health practitioners to get at least 7-8 hours of sleep daily but you see, that's not the reality with me, I would have really loved to sleep that long but I think the burden and responsibility on my shoulder will not allow me sleep that long.

For this reason, I stay up late into the night until I feel I've been able to meet up with certain target set for myself and at other times, I just find myself busy doing other stuffs that are not really important and somehow they take sleep off my eyes till late in the night.

If I'm to calculate my hours of rest, I'd say 5-6 hours on the average. I hope I get all I have before me achieved while I'm still young and agile to control sleep to an extent because I know a time will come when it will be pretty difficult to do so, hence the reason why I want to have everything I will need to enjoy maximum rest when that time comes.

Do you follow any sleep routine (like reading, meditation, avoiding screens)?.

Eeeerm, well I don't really seem to understand this question well, but do you mean to say, what facilitate sleep for you...if this is it, then I will choose "avoiding screens", if by any means I'm able to drop my phone, sleep can come easily.

My mobile phone is like my companion, we stay together until late in the night but if it goes off or stays far from me at night, it hasten my night rest.Another thing that hasten sleeps for me is stress, if I'm completely stressed from the day's activity, I manage to take my bath and then jump in the bed to rest.

Sleeping after a stressful day is something I find hard to control, it gets me all the time even if there are things needed to be done that night. So yeah! I think I've just answered your question. Unto the next...smiles.

What disturbs your sleep the most? (noise, stress, mobile, late-night eating, etc.)

Definitely, My mobile device. May God deliver me from it. Actually, I do a whole lot with it including trading and sometimes I have to watch these trades late into the night so I don't get burnt by the harsh market which obviously doesn't care about your money or feelings.

Basically, my mobile device distorts my night rest a whole lot. As for the other point you mentioned, they really have no huge effect on me. Even if I eat late, I still find my rest when I want to and when I'm stressed, it speeds up the process...what about noise? I'm used to it already...lol.

A neighbor of mine turns on his Generator set every evening and this generator stay on till late in the night with it loud noise, I have about two of these neighbors very close to me, you you can imaging the level of noise pollution I deal with everyday. My body system had to adjust so much that the noise doesn't interfere when nature calls.

Tell us about the negative impacts of not taking enough sleep and positive impacts of taking enough sleep on our health.

Of course there are negative and positive impact of having or not having enough sleep. For me, when I rest all through the night, I'm energized and active the following morning. I wake up quite strong and ready for the day but when I sleep late and have a short night, I wake up with an itching, swollen and watery eyes, looking red of course because it's strained.

It will take time to adjust and get my body to get up from my bed to go prepare for the day ahead. On such days, I would still need to have a make up session for that little hour of sleep I denied myself of and I have to do that at work during my short break so it doesn't affect my productivity.

In conclusion, I will like encourage us all to sleep and enjoy our night rest...for the sake of our health but then don't over do it. You shouldn't sleep too much neither should you deny yourself enough rest. This is actually where the balance comes in. Too much of everything is actually toxic, I hope you get my point. Alright let me drop my pen here... @josepha @zory23 & @radleking, would you like to share your thoughts as well?
