how many hours sleep do you usually get each night, and do you think it is enough ?

Honestly I do have 6 hours sleep every night. Although this is not the adequate 8 hours of sleep, but I still attempt to make it work by having a steady sleep routine and a relaxing bed protocol. One day I may wake up fresh and another day I can notice my body needs to sleep more. I know that it is sufficient to pass my day, and yet I understand how valuable sleep can be regarding both health and productivity in the long run. And I also attempt to pay attention to my body and have more time to rest when it's necessary. Perfectly, I would love to sleep 8 hours on a regular basis, because I am well aware and know that this will increase my concentration, mood, and well being.

Do you follow any sleep routine (like reading, meditation, avoiding screens)?.

I do but I have a sleep regimen that makes me sleep better and relax. I would stay away at least 30 minutes before bedtime with a phone or TV screen. I would also choose to read some pages of the book instead because it seems to relax me. Other times I also do some light meditating or deep breathing to get rid of any stress of the day. I ensure my sleeping conditions are cool and calm and I attempt to put myself to bed at sufficient time at night. My little habits have actually made me sleep better and wake up fresh and rather ready to start the day. Having a good routine counts a lot.

What disturbs your sleep the most? (noise, stress, mobile, late-night eating, etc.)

No noise makes me lose sleep more than other things. I cannot sleep or sleep soundly on bed or even when making rooms in presence of loud or brusque sounds. Noise may disrupt my sleep just because of human beings conversing, music, cars going by and even the barking of dogs at night.

I am a light sleeper and little sounds can easily wake me up and even when I have a desire to go to sleep it will not be easy. Other times I will put in earplugs or listen to some low volume white noise or rain to attempt to block out the noise. It partly assists and I would want quiet and peaceful environment. I have learned that I cannot sleep well and it would be hard to achieve, until it is too noisy, and it may affect my condition and performance the following day.

Tell us about the negative impacts of not taking enough sleep and also positive impacts of taking enough sleep on our health.

Lack of sleep can result in a lot of negative effects to our health. It may lead to fatigue, lack of concentration, mood swings, and low immune system. It could cause unhealthy conditions like heart diseases and high blood pressure in the long run, and depression. There are also impaired memories and decision-making abilities due to off bad sleep.

Also adequate sleep on the other hand has many benefits. It helps the body to recover, boosts immune system, boosts the mood and sharpens the mind. Good sleep will also make sure that we have much energy and stress. Sleep is important not only to the body but also to our minds; hence, by giving it a priority we are basically able to improve the quality of our life.
