Hello friends and welcome to my article and I would love to appreciate @suboohi for such educative contest and I would be dropping my entry immediately.
Osteoporosis is a health complication noted to be a decrease in bone density, texture and overall anatomy of the bone. It is a disorder which affects greater adults most often than not, as a result of aging mostly amidst other factors. It is a delicate health condition and at worse case scenario leads to bone fracture due to weakening of the bones. New bones do not replenish old ones causing the worn out of the existing bones.

Aging Process:
During the aging process the bone tissues usually get weaker and when they are not replenished they tend to lead to long term osteoporosis eventually.
Hormonal Changes:
This factor is a cause dependent on age, once a woman approaches menopause the quest to produce estrogen reduced this increasing tendencies of getting this osteoporosis. Same way as a man approaches age 50 too. The producing of testosterone reduces and this tends to cause osteoporosis on the long run
Bad Habits:
Dangerous habits like smoking and excessive alcohol intake with little or no exercise could actually be a factor to trigger bad turmoil of osteoporosis. It is a cause not to be overlooked.

Firstly, people who had this disorder after a while starts having depreciation in height, they tend to get shorter bones and in that same vein show the presence of osteoporosis. Most often than not they tend to get tendencies of fracture in their bones and this is really a great issue which can be a visible symptom of this bone disorder.
Importantly, they get bent easily as well know it happens in aging people. They tend also to get fracture easily as a result of weak bones eventually. In worse case scenario they tend to fracture bones of their hips, vertebral column or their knees.
Regular exercise is quite expedient to gaining proper precaution to keeping body and bones alive.
Proper dieting and consumption of food rich in Vitamin D, calcium and supplements too. More veggies and fruits too would do so good. Milk consumption is really great for bones strengthening and prevention of the disorder.
Prevention of smoking as it is a great trigger of this, more importantly we must advice to reduce excess intake of alcohol which is a great trigger of this deadly disorder in humans.

Tengo una vecina que desde hace aproximadamente cinco años fue diagnosticada con este problema y, literalmente, ahorita tiene menos altura que antes, al igual que, está en un punto en el que cualquier movimiento brusco que haga, le ocasiona una fractura. Sin duda, es un trastorno bastante delicado.

Hola @daprado1999, es muy relevante la buena alimentación en estos casos, ya que se puede prevenir la osteoporosis, y si ya está presente en los huesos, la sana alimentación y un buen tratamiento, los puede fortalecer.
Debemos estar prevenidos para no lamentarnos a futuro.
