"My Relationship With Sleep".
Today I will like to participate in this new contest organized by @abdullahw2 in healthy steem community. Here is my contribution that will improve our sleeping habits.
How many hours of sleep do you usually get each night, and do you think it’s enough?
The sleep hours I normally get each night is around 7 or 8 hours on a daily basis. I think that's enough because it aligns with the recommended hours for the brain and other parts of the body to rest. Anything beyond that is considered abnormal, as it can cause illness or sickness.
Too much sleep is not good. As a typical person, I like to sleep at the right time to wake up as early as possible. I always wake up for Fajr prayer at exactly 5:13 AM when the alarm I set on my phone wakes me up. When I return from the mosque, I still sleep for about an hour. After that, I bathe and go to work. This routine has been helpful most of the time in maintaining a healthier lifestyle.
Do you follow any sleep routine (like reading, meditation, avoiding screens)?.
Reading some interesting article on Steemit platform is an amazing thing that I enjoy most because in that time I may not know when sleep will come. Once I see the notification on my Steemit page, I will first check it to see what it's all about. If it's a comment, I will reply to such individuals. When the nature calls for it, I will just keep my phone elsewhere and fall asleep so that I can wake up earlier. Sometimes, I read books such as 'Rich Dad Poor Dad'. These are the kind of books that motivate me. In fact, I will not know when I will fall asleep.
What disturbs your sleep the most? (noise, stress, mobile, late-night eating, etc.)
The most annoying thing that disturbs my sleeping pattern is noise, especially if children or other family members are around because they would playing that can cause disturbance. I like to sleep in a quiet place, especially in a dark room, because then I can enjoy my sleep. If something falls on the ground, like a plate or any metal object near me while I'm sleeping, I will wake up instantly, and falling back asleep will be difficult for me.
Noise from outside too also contributes to my sleeping problem, especially when people are shouting at each other. Stress also affects my ability to sleep properly, especially when I arrive home from work. My whole body, including both legs, will be in pain due to the stress I encountered.
