When this fat is excessive, it can be called OBESITY and can also lead to health problems like; heart disease ( difficulty in breathing), joint problems, mental health problem, high blood pressure e.tc.

Obesity is simply a negative impact to the health that occurs when a person has excessive fat in the body. This happens when you are on very poor diet, it can be from a person's gene, lack of physical activity like exercise, stress, depression and hormonal imbalance.

How Obesity Can Affect the Health

Since obesity is related to a medical condition, once the fats start accumulating in the body and become excessive, it can lead to different types of health challenge.

When excessive blood build up in the body, it hinders the flow of blood and it can lead to high blood pressure, stroke, high cholesterol levels and heart attack

It can also affect the health by interfering with the way lungs function by creating a breathing issues like; shortness of breath, sleep apnea and asthma.

Obesity can make a person to have low self-esteem, depression and lack of social life. The knees, spine and hips will also be affected because of the excessive fat in the body.

Effective Ways to Overcome this Problem

The most effective way to get rid of this problem is consuming healthy meals and portioning it rightly. Healthy diet is the first step to reduce unnecessary fat in the body.

  • Burn body fat through regular exercise
  • Drink a lot of water to stay hydrated and also flush out toxins from the body.
  • If it's through gene, get a medical help
  • Know how to manage and control stress so it won't lead to depression.
