3D animation is a three dimensional tangible animation, though not in actual 3D form, that is not physical, but in 3D in a 2D glass screen (tv screen, cinema, computer, projector, and similar media). Unlike 2D animations that have dimensions of length (X) and width (Y), 3D animations in addition to having the 2D tersbut also have depth dimensions (z)
2D animation is flat (flat), while 3D animation has a depth (volume) shape. 3D animations can be defined as animations that can be viewed from different points of view. Stages of 3D animation as a whole is done with computer media, ranging from the stage of modeling, texturing, lighting, to rendering. The main advantage of 3D animation is the physicalization of objects that appear more real and close to their original form. Another advantage is its ability to create and realize physicalization with the difficult and impossible or even seemingly impossible.
