I think there was a beer fog around me when I woke up. But I did manage to roll out of the bed, get a little... just ten pushups and ankle stretches... exercise done. The upper-upper is sore, but the back of the neck, into the head is sorer (more sore). I expect it. I twisted the neck hard yesterday.

Today, however, I can feel where the DOMS is settled. I welcome it anyway.

Finally got my ish together and made it to la lavanderia. Sunday is laundry day here. It's active, but not crowded to the point of a line.

The joy of boredom and the rise of technology.

I haven't decided on my next location. I haven't visited the Sete Rios (seven rivers) station yet, but I know I don't want to go back to Madrid just yet.

There's no obsession over #1. She doesn't reach out, so I'll just let those moments... our moments, remain fond memories. Claro, I'll reach out when I'm in Madrid. No question.

The population at the coin-op has grown. All the machines that work, are occupied. Ooops, one couple wasn't quick enough and someone scooped the last machine. My timing was perfect. Universe! I got right in the cut.

Laundry done. The dry took a record breaking 15 minutes the usual is 45-55. Some dampness remained, but not bad enough to spin it again. €8.5 total, not bad.

What I call my "Long-Ass Walks" should be called my "Lost-Ass Walks". Most times I get lost. Today was particularly frustrating because I couldn't find any of the streets on Google maps. I found the station by following street signs and the general direction of the station. Still I happened upon it and went through the back. I don't think I could find it again. But that's okay. Next time I'm coming on the train. Short walk from the hotel to the Entrecampos station and one stop to Sete Rios, then just across the street.

It's kind of a grubby station. There were quite a few fringe types there. Like me, maybe in mind and spirit, yet highly visible. They advertise their "fringeness" in their style of dress, hair and overall appearance. There were probably other fringers there as well, but better, hidden in plain sight. Not ostentatious in their style of dress, so as not to draw attention to themselves. Unwanted or otherwise.

A little picture fun.

To each their own. We all send out our own messages and go our own ways. Train is coming and I'm overdue for tea.

Porto is looking like the move. Short bus ride. Low stress move I'd say, and a cheaper week. Then I can clear my mind a bit more and get ready for Madrid. Vacation is over. I'll have two programs in three weeks, then a week off and another week-long program, then back to North America. Poland may offer two weeks, but I can't be there beyond the end of September.

Finally got my tea. In the station.

I've eaten twice today. Makes sense, with the weight lifting. I'm finding that a single meal a day isn't sustainable; meaning I cannot do it every single day. Maybe twice a week. I'm finding that maybe two days I can do a single meal, then the third day maybe two "eating times" and maybe two to three the next day, then restart the cycle.

This isn't meant to be a plan for everyone. I do, however, encourage you to experiment on your own if you're looking for nutrition solutions, (weight loss, lean muscle, better health, etc.).

Okay, back to the boring life. I have a nice little routine I can do without leaving my room.

Oh yeah... I'm watching season two of Westworld. It's not particularly "good" but I think there are messages in the script; parallels to what we think of as "real life."

One important message is; (if you haven't seen it) look at who's running things. Of the four-ish narratives streaming within, three of them are led by strong women (that's a powerful message in itself, think elections... yet the series doesn't fall into the chick-flick category.

Okay. What's next.

Sunday night and I'm listening to documentaries debunking the existence of Jesus Christ. It's not the first time... I don't think I've ever believed. Now, there are lots of speakers and seminars and groups that are making the case that Jesus never existed. At some point I may share my attitude about organized religion. However, for now I'm wondering two, maybe three things;

no jesus.JPG

  1. what, if anything, is the agenda of those who are exposing their "truth?"

  2. what will humanity look like when the critical mass of the world population of Abrahamic religions accept that their religions were created to control them?

  3. if humanity accepts that they've been lied to about religion, will they question what else they've been lied to about?

Just throwing that out there.

Before my brainwashing... or during, I got some training in. Upper-upper with the bands... and one set of pushups, with my feet against the wall.

retro goodnight...

Whacha got chavalles??

Ohh religion has now become like a big circle that nobody wants to talk about. It is the circle that has been a huge part of the world. If somebody tells them that these all are lies people won't accept it, Cause it has so much became part of their lives.

I agree with you 100%.... I look at religion like a prison for the mind. For some people it's harder to think of no religion as freedom. I Understand this also.
