Marigold

Marigold flower which has the scientific name Tagetes erecta is one of the flowers that most often decorates the home page. The yellow color makes the environment more cheerful.

Many people in my place think that this marigold flower is native to Indonesia, when in fact this flower comes from Mexico. This flower is indeed very suitable for the climate in Indonesia, so many are found throughout Indonesia until we consider that this flower is native to our country.
This marigold flower is known as the kenikir flower in my Indonesian language. Planting and taking care it is very easy. Even in slightly barren soil conditions it still grows, although it may suffer stunting.
