"THEREFORE, WHATEVER YOU WANT MEN TO DO TO YOU, DO ALSO TO THEM, for this is the Law and the Prophets."
Matthew 7:12 (NKJV)

Whatever you would want others to do to you, that exactly you should do to others. There are people who would not want to accept what they are doing to others. Before you do a thing to your fellow human, think on It and ask yourself, If this was done to me would I be happy with it or would I accept it?

If this candid question could always be asked yourself If you wanted to do anything to another person, you would want to think twice before you do any negative thing to your fellow human being. But a lot of people are not sincere and they would not candidly ask such a question from themselves. Even among those who claim to be believers, they shortchange, cheat or defraud, their fellow believers.

This is not only applicable to financial related matters. Whatever would wound the heart of your fellow believer which you yourself would not want anyone to do such to you, you should not do it to others:
3 IN WHATEVER YOU DO, DON'T LET SELFISHNESS OR PRIDE BE YOUR GUIDE. BE HUMBLE, AND HONOUR OTHERS MORE THAN YOURSELVES. 4 DON'T BE INTERESTED ONLY IN YOUR OWN LIFE, BUT CARE ABOUT THE LIVES OF OTHERS TOO" (Philippians 2:3,4 Easy-to-Read Version).

The issue of being unfaithful is not only on financial related matters, It is all about every aspect of human life. If you would not want someone to take advantage of you and defraud you by having an affair with your spouse, do not do it to another person's spouse, especially in the household of faith:
3 GOD'S WILL IS FOR YOU TO BE HOLY, SO STAY AWAY FROM ALL SEXUAL SIN. 4 THEN EACH OF YOU WILL CONTROL HIS OWN BODY AND LIVE IN HOLINESS AND HONOUR—5 NOT IN LUSTFUL PASSION LIKE THE PAGANS WHO DO NOT KNOW GOD AND HIS WAYS. 6 NEVER HARM OR CHEAT A FELLOW BELIEVER IN THIS MATTER BY VIOLATING HIS WIFE, FOR THE LORD AVENGES ALL SUCH SINS, AS WE HAVE SOLEMNLY WARNED YOU BEFORE. 7 GOD HAS CALLED US TO LIVE HOLY LIVES, NOT IMPURE LIVES" (1 Thessalonians 4:3–7 (NLT).

Apostle Paul was addressing this issue about some believers who were taking advantage of their fellow believers, defrauding them by having illicit affairs with the spouses of their fellow believers. In the passage, Paul was saying God is the avenger of such things: "THAT NO ONE SHOULD TAKE ADVANTAGE OF AND DEFRAUD HIS BROTHER IN THIS MATTER, BECAUSE THE LORD IS THE AVENGER OF ALL SUCH (Philippians 4:6 NKJV).

In fact, this is becoming a norm in the church of Christ today. You would see some bachelorettes or baby mamas having affairs with other supposed believers in the same local church, yet they know the wife of the person in the church—they are all in the same local church. Even a number of ministers are not left out in such dirty things in the church.
If you would not want someone else to defraud you and defile you spouse, wife or husband, do not do it to another person:
“YOU MUST NOT COVET YOUR NEIGHBOUR'S WIFE. YOU must not covet your neighbor’s house or land, male or female servant, ox or donkey, OR ANYTHING ELSE THAT BELONGS TO YOUR NEIGHBOUR" (Deuteronomy 5:21 NLT).

Another translation says:
"DO NOT DESIRE TO POSSESS ANYTHING THAT BELONGS TO ANOTHER PERSON—NOT A HOUSE, A WIFE, A HUSBAND, A SLAVE [servant or maid or household staff] AN OX A DONKEY, OR ANYTHING ELSE."
Deuteronomy 5 :21 (Contemporary English Version)
READ: Exodus 20:17

If you would not want to be cheated on, do not do it to others. However, If you knew the truth and you kept doing the wrong thing, God cannot but avenge on the behalf of those you are doing the evil to. A believer should be able to discipline himself or herself:
4 THEN EACH OF YOU WILL CONTROL HIS OWN BODY AND LIVE IN HOLINESS AND HONOUR— 7 GOD HAS CALLED US TO LIVE HOLY LIVES, NOT IMPURE LIVES" (1 Thessalonians 4:47 NLT).
Peace.
