"AND this is what he says to all humanity: 'THE FEAR OF THE LORD IS TRUE WISDOM; TO FORSAKE EVIL IS REAL UNDERSTANDING."
Job 28:28 (NLT)

• A believer's soul might have been delivered from the flesh, sinful passion or lustfulness, but not totally submissive to the leadership of the Holy Spirit on the inside of the believer's spirit—inward man.

  • A number of believers had successfully done or passed through the first part, delivered from the flesh, sinful habits or passions; but they are yet to be submissive to the person of the Holy Spirit residents in the spirit or inward man of them.
  • Thus, If your soul or mind is covered or veiled, and not submissive to the Holy Spirit, your understanding would not be enlightened. It is the Holy Spirit who enlightens the mind, If the soul was submissive to Him.
  • If your soul or mind is not submissive to the Holy Spirit, after you have been delivered from sinful passions, you might be doing good things or works but would not be in line with God's Will.
  • Whatever is being done would still be under the influence or the power of soul—the human nature or the self. And whatever is done by the self without the leading and help of God, through the Holy Spirit, is still not welcomed or accepted by God. Because there would be vaunting, and the glory of it would be given to the self (2 Corinthians 10:17,18).
  • Whatever thing which the glory would not be given to God, such would not be supported or approved by Him—God: "THAT NO FLESH SHOULD GLORY IN HIS PRESENCE, THAT AS IT IS WRITTEN, "HE WHO GLORIES, LET HIM GLORY IN THE LORD" (1 Corinthians 1:29,31 NKJV).

• The process through which the soul is saved or renewed.
(i) Feeding on the Word of God will take care of the part A of the saving of the soul or mind. Through the knowledge of the Word of God, consistent reading, studying, and pondering; the soul or mind would be decongested of dirty things of the world (Romans 12:2; James 1:21).
(ii) Whilst the part B of the saving of the soul or mind would need the humility of the believer; his or her willingness to unwaveringly submit their will, mind or thought, and emotion—the three components of the soul—to the Holy Spirit.
(iii) A believer who does this, who submitted his or her soul to the Holy Spirit, would have their understanding opened or enlightened or flooded with light—had the revelation knowledge of God (Ephesians 1:17,18).
(iv) Such a believer would walk in the realm which any other average believer is not walking, regarding the knowledge or the knowing of God and His Kingdom.

  • Note:
    a. The secret of the Kingdom is made known to the type of a believer being described here.
    b. Such would walk in an intimate relationship with God, his or her fellowshipping with God would be cordial and stronger.
    c. Such a believer also has the presence of God in his or her life. The Aura of God's presence is with them—on their life.
    d. Such a believer would also have a spiritual wisdom, called sophizō in Greek, which is gotten through the revelation of the Holy Spirit and the Bible.
  • Thus, wisdom and understanding that lead to the above mentioned benefits are gotten from the Holy Spirit. That is when a believer's soul or mind is saved or renewed, and the soul or mind is submitted to God through the Holy Spirit on the inside of him or her.

• If you rely on your natural wisdom or understanding, as a believer, which is gotten from your soul, the human nature, or mind; It means you have pride in you.

  • The Bible admonishes not to lean on your own understanding, and you should acknowledge Him in all you do (Proverbs 3:5,6).
  • There is a limit to human understanding, because a way that seems right in the sight of man or humans might lead to a destruction (Proverbs 14:12; 16:25).
  • Thus, God's wisdom and understanding that are gotten through the Holy Spirit and the Word are needed for direction: " . . . BUT WISDOM IS PROFITABLE TO DIRECT" (Ecclesiastes 10:10 KJV).
  • Like said earlier on, wisdom and understanding are products of the reverential fear of God. Every proud soul would be humbled before God. No proud soul would amount to anything before Him (James 4:6; 1 Peter 5:5).
  • God is the source of wisdom. He gives understanding to the meek or humble. Whoever craves success would have to embrace God's wisdom which comes through the Word of God and the Holy Spirit.

• You will not fail in Jesus' name.

  • Should there be any ailment in your body, I declare your healing now in Jesus' name.
  • Whatever is contrary to your healthiness, that would not give you peace and joy, such is cursed and uprooted totally in Jesus' name.
    Peace!

STEPS TO SALVATION
