"Not Waiting On Promises!".... Why?

"That's why I will not wait on external promises, but I will seek to promise myself!"

This World is full of promises that are never fulfilled. What I will term as "fake" promises. The love and passion between friend and friend; sister and sister; brother and brother; boss and subordinate are gradually diminishing. It's becoming lack of trustworthy living or little among the lot. Many are we who feel disappointed and cheated out of promises. What happens is that, most people over rely and embed their hopes in promises and finally being deceived. They depended on their friends, brothers, sisters, their close relatives or even their leaders in their communities or nations, and finally threw dust on their eyes. Out of this, they become dejected and disturbed in life. Their hearts have been broken, since their freedom and destiny have been damped in a pit. Many are completely at sea in life upon putting their hopes in many leaders in their nations, and got cheated.

Imagine that you are living in a country where corruption, bribery and propaganda politics have engulfed the attitudes of the leaders. The leaders in governance has diverted every public sector employment to be under the control of local government to be influenced by politics. When they promise of going for Loan for the improvement education, they misappropriate the funds. They promise of instituting factories or projects in deprived communities , and they finnally squander the money. Most roads which are in devastating or deplorable state to be repair have been in every government's agenda that they have been repaired, but the roads are still as they are. Because of their wicked ways instead of using those monies for the right purpose, the have bought heavy porsh cars.

Consider the community in which you live, the King and the Assembly men and other leaders who hold authority in the community have been using their position misusing the toll or the levy the collect from marketers and other people. The King in charge of all the stool lands have been selling the lands which have been already bought by some people to different people. So, where lies the truth? So, confusing always generate disputes between the people and the King in the community. The sad aspect is that, is the people in this community who voted or enstood you as King or Assembly man or Distric Chief Executive in the community. The right people who were promised to get job when you are voted into power, after winning, you don't even remember them, but you are rather giving the opportunity to those with unqualified and fake certificates.

The churches which are noted to be championing the love and freedom pursued by Jesus Christ are even living with fake promises; deceiving members with false prophesies. Draining also the little finances that they live with their families. Now, most church have turned into business ministries rather than their intended purposes. Because, what kind of love and symparthy are we building if the poor aged donates offering for leaders and ministers in the church to live with them, neglecting these starved people. The promises that Jesus Christ left with us to show to people, especially those suffering must be seen in us working and moving forward. There are many widows and orphans in our churches in which we can reach out to them.

That is why I have decided not to leave my hopes in the external promises, but strive to thrive even the harder conditions, especially in this time of economic crisis. Ignoring fake promises will really motivate me to work harder, since it best a loaf of bread alone than to have dosen of bread shared by many. I will do my best I can, with confidence and determination I will really reach my goal. I will support to build a vibrant community, but not wait for the external promises. Let's get back to steem business, one thing I love is everyone being responsible for hos steem journey; whether it goes on well or not. One's effort putting here is steem will show the kind of output. Despite tje fact a lot of steemians make predictions and promises of steem is gonna be well and the coming bullish market stuff, yet individuals are the contributing factors.
