The books rewrite themselves
It is a scary night, just like every night.
The books in the library are ready because, as usual, they duplicate themselves when no one is watching. The exception is a special book where the pages are blank and no words are printed on it. How it ever ended up in the library is unknown.
The other books are not happy with the odd duckling and pray it will be removed. Between the rewriting, there is a lot of gossip because everyone agrees that a book without words does not belong in the library and is merely a cover for a bundle of papers.
More than once, they have lured the thing without content into a trap. Once, it was even burned. But every time, the result is the same: the empty one rewrites itself, and due to their behavior, the other books on the shelves keep rewriting themselves—along with their nasty deeds.

When I saw this prompt I never thought that there will be a story written with it. I thought that you others are going to write something which is related to books only..

I wonder if story or books rewrite themselves or are it films these days? I forgot about the prompts and will have a look.
If it comes to the last part: what is the the empty book rewrites? A secret message?
