Too Tired?

Am I too tired? Not at all, I’m bursting with energy, and the warm weather only adds to it.
If you don’t see me, it’s not because I’m tired. It’s because I have so many things to do and want to do, all tied to other interests, art, summer, and of course, my travel plans and spending time with friends. After all, the bow can’t always be drawn.

So I’m still here, just more focused. I don’t feel like staring at a screen all day, reading everything and everyone, and responding to it all. Those who know me will know how to find me, and that’s good enough.

Summer plans? The longest day has already passed (over a month ago), so the days are getting shorter and the nights longer. It takes some getting used to, the earlier darkness, but it’ll happen even sooner soon, around 3 o’clock, unless we’re stuck in fog all day, in which case it never really gets light.

Anything planned? Yes, for the next few days that I have to myself, I’ll definitely be spending a lot of time outside, not cooking (why would I? I barely eat), which means less washing up. I still have quite a few things to tidy up. I’ll do that after my day of lounging outside, sitting in the sun.

Beyond that, I’m doing a bit of planning (more like thinking things through, really, since I’ve already made a travel schedule for the kids) for where the next trip will take us (and what to do) before I leave the country again. In between, there are a few things to arrange for birthdays. Fun to do, though I’m not much of a shopper, and for some, it’s easier than for others.

For those who work and need to be the centre of attention, good luck with that. I hope it pays off.

Personally, I’d rather enjoy the summer while it lasts...
