Film: I Love You Forever

in Freewritersyesterday (edited)

Let me put it this way. I absolutely don't find this funny. The humour is lost on me. That girl the story starts with? Weird. Who in their right mind stays with such an unbelievable arsehole for two years? Someone you still know nothing about after all that time. Was that pathetic trickle of water in the glass supposed to be a joke? Frankly, I had to bite my tongue to stop myself saying "Typical of that sort of man." Anyway, I didn't say it and decided to keep watching this drama.

Her friends are just as odd as she is, though the male friend seems the most normal of the trio.

The main character gets a new boyfriend. How modern. No need for a proper breakup. She just disappears with a bloke who gave me creepy vibes from the first second. My friend said the same, but I took a moment to define what I mean by "creep".

It's painfully obvious that the drama king needs a good kick up the backside. I don't find his constant suicide threats remotely amusing. I've actually got a brilliant solution for that, by the way. My mother used to pull the same stunt. She'd regularly say "If I crash the car and die, it'll be your fault." The solution? Hand her the car keys and say "Bye."

Sadly, this girl isn't sharp enough for that. How pathetic do you have to be to keep letting yourself be manipulated, cutting off all your friends, making endless excuses because "darling" can't handle you going to a school reunion or even attending classes? I can't stand that kind of melodrama. Yes, I've dealt with that nonsense too. Every now and then, it seems like our leading lady might stand up for herself. But no, the one and a half times Mr. Charm shows up outweigh the countless tantrums, manipulation, destruction, and verbal abuse.

The control is blatant. Rifling through her phone, stalking her, playing nice with her friends while seething underneath.

And those friends? They should know her well enough to see she's changed. But no, they're too busy being... well, let's just say they've got their heads firmly in the sand.

The ending isn't so bad. She leaves. The narcissist lets her go and has a new victim by that evening. She sits there, a broken mess, with her friends. It's almost surprising she still has any, really. Though I do wonder where were you lot when this all started? Earlier in the film, she's reading messages on her laptop. Why not show the screen?

If you want to watch this, you can use the link. Maybe turn on your VPN. It won't cheer you up, and there's nothing to laugh about. The only thing I'll say is that actor plays the role well. Not once did I find him remotely likeable.

thanks a lot, your support is highly appreciated.
I wish you a great Friday!

Hi @wakeupkitty,As I told you before, I listen to the news while I work. There's a section of curious news. I'll tell you that sometimes I don't know whether to believe what they say. There are some that simply astound me.
Here's one of them: A woman She visits a Christian church with a friend, listens to the pastor, immediately leaves the church, arrives home, looks at her husband and asks for forgiveness....The husband asks her why, she replies, our 5 children are NOT yours, each one is from a different man...Please... this is a higher level of infidelity, the controversy is imminent, each one gives his point of view, one of the journalists says he would forgive her, he was almost killed hahaha, I would not forgive, let her look for each man to help her with them, I obviously divorce her and leave her with nothing.

With you I wonder if this is true. I also wonder what a pastor could have said that all of a sudden did impress her. And hwho is that friend she visited church with?
In the end I doubt if it matter is the husband forgives her (how come he didn't know? Did they have sex or not and if that was the case did she test every child's DNA with the father and her husband? I also find that very hard to believe.).
I wonder if she wanted to test if he is a real christian willing to forget. If you ask me the parent is the one who takes care of the children, held and comforted them and took care. Not one of those fathers did.

How the story ends? Husbands keeps the children and toodeloo!

I don't know how all this is resolved, journalists give their opinion and even some people participate online , I prefer to listen hahaha

Should journalists give their opinon? I believe a journalist shouldn't.

I'll try. I have so many photographs.
