Thoughts Beyond Drowning
It is unclear. I am not seeing Luke clearly. That is what Larry was saying to himself. At that same moment, he was having this confusing thought of being in a dream. But, it is very much real. His senses can reveal the truth and cut this thin string between imagination and reality. Seconds later, he was able to remember that he was calling someone before falling to the ground. He looked for his phone.. Weirdly, it was in the other room. It seems as every single thing is drawing tons of questions. However, living the stress of the moment, eliminates the time to ask the mind of answers.
It is something out of the ordinary that happened to him, and the last thing he could be remembering was falling down. It is now the moment that he woke up. Now, the picture is clearer. Everything was drowning. He picked up his phone and checked the last number, it was the emergency service. Now, he remembers that it was the flood that hit them and they're waiting for help to arrive. He went back to the room that he was in, he saw Luke sitting down. The mess in his head at that moment, made everything blurry!
What is real, what is not? It takes time to come to one sense. Love the suspense in this @ronnie10
I am glad you liked it!.. I had more stuff to add in here.. But, I wanted to make this piece a quick read.
Thanks for passing by,

In a way it feels there's a different flood messing up with his brain. I wonder if the help will arrive or a bit more rest will solve everything.
True, there are more parts to this story.. But, I tend to keep them short as a quick read thing..
