What is has been, what will be is - There's really nothing new under the heavens.

As time passes, I urge myself to think in terms of relevance and impact seeing that every problem there is today was some thousands of years ago, maybe in different clothes or painted with a different cultural way of solving it, but essentially there isn't anything new.

What we celebrate is the impact we make in the lives of those here, the bonds we create today hoping it's mark is indelible enough or it's roots deep enough to be imprinted on the sands of time when we leave, but here's a question for you to ponder on;

  • For how many half centuries till the story fades away?

Being swept under the carpet of great feats, not greater than yours but more current. It seems current is like currency, ever fresh in the moment. At the turn of a new decade and a new leadership, old coins become relics - kept for viewing until it disintegrates of its own accord.

My mind has a way of it's own and certain times, I don't even bother stopping the myriad of thoughts that bamboozle into it.
Have you thought about those who created the pyramids of Egypt? What was their aim in so doing?

Was it to become a spectacle of the earth only fit for the lens of people's phone and the boosted ego of where and where they have traversed on the earth or was it made for more???

Did they painstakingly suffer the scorch of the Egyptian desert just for likes and views?? Or were they teleported into a time we today don't have the vision to go?? -

There are a million and one other places my mind's eye can think of but the question is - Do we have enough fuelling vision and have we created the kind of bonds to take us there safely, even if not safely, at least for a start!!

Because like they say - One man alone can't successfully row through the tides, but 3 pairs of hands can try.

I am not so sure one man can't make it. With us, they say If there are there,e there's one too many. It reminds me of the box with matches, which has the slogan: Solo works, and it is true. Imagine being in a boat and 2 pair of hands row in a different rhythm or pushing you overboard.
