What I don't like about the news is the strong focus on the negative. While there are negative events, there are also positive ones, but positive news doesn't generate rating. We live in a world where those of us who listen should try not to focus on a single topic, but rather analyze several and draw conclusions. That's my opinion.
Lo que no me gusta de las noticias es el enfoque excesivo en lo negativo. Si bien hay eventos negativos, también los hay positivos, pero las noticias positivas no generan audiencia. Vivimos en un mundo donde quienes escuchamos deberíamos intentar no centrarnos en un solo tema, sino analizar varios y sacar conclusiones. Esa es mi opinión.

You said that the bad news got rating. That's true the news channels show the negative views just for their fame. But it is not necessary that all the news channels shows the news only for their fame if there are no news channels then how can we communicate and understand that what is happening in the world? what you said is right that the bad news got viral more than the good news We can see that many influencers on Instagram Facebook only shows you post that are bad because they want more followers and more views just for the sake of money but we can't deny that news are very important and help us to acknowledge that what is happening in the world.

Exactly, we need to be informed. There are many media outlets, some more reliable than others, but each individual decides. The point is to know what's happening around us.

I prefer to watch the news at night. Caracol Noticias is a reliable news program,I've seen it since I was a child, it's already a habit

I never listen to the news. I don't have a radio or a TV. I had it with the negativity, the brainwashing and not to mention the endless commercials. I don't like news made up, fake messages and in many times it's a translation of US bad news items, or it's even 6-8 years old, something stupid like a firefighter saving a dog.
Some positivity wouldn't harm, but I guess you need independent new media for that and real journalists, not a bunch of bought translators.

With us the firefighter doesn't save the animals (unless the animal rescuers can't do it, I worked for the animal ambulance and I can tell you if there's a fire, they call you to get the animals out. In my case a snake).
