Where we'll meet...
My friends and I organized a little get-together few weeks ago, our meeting point was introduced by one of my friends. She gave us a good description and she assured us of the venue as a perfect relaxation center for our gathering.
We appointed a logistics officer amongst us and some others to assist him. As the day approached I was more concerned about the venue because I had hardly heard anything about the place before now.
As it happens, the location had other branches. Some located in the same community, while others outside the community and even the state.
Some of my friends went to the other location, while some came to the originally set location. When we called, they said they were at the set location and we claimed we were there too. It became a very confusing dialogue until we discovered there was another branch close by.
Where we were to meet caused a bit confusion and wasted some of our time, but I am glad we were able to meet up in the end and enjoyed our coming together. I learnt to always check the background of a location before hooking up.
