Confessions...

My friend and I had some disagreement the other day. I could have overlooked the incidence and tried to make out but I have always been the one bridging the gap even when I was right, so I decided to look the other way for the first time.

After awhile she came to apologize and the scene was very funny to me, I'll tell you why.
She said, "I am sorry".
I said, "what are you sorry for?"
She could not find anything to say, as of she did not know what she did wrong.
I understood that she was trying to make peace but at least you should know what you did wrong, acknowledge you were wrong and ask for forgiveness, then maybe you do not do such again.

I was not asking for a confession, just sincere apology. "I am sorry for being rude". I don't think that is too much to ask.

She later understood my point and she did the needful. I also corrected the fact that I had to be the sacrificial lamb, always apologizing even when I am in the clear. I did that because I value our relationship, but continuing that way will bring the relationship out of balance. So, I had to make the necessary correction.

Thank you for your time...
