A companion is one who serves as a friend or partner in something. Whether it's travel or dinner or card-playing, your companion is the one who does it with you. The word companion is a close, um, companion to the word company, and you might as well say that someone you keep company with is your companion. Link

There was a time I thought needing a companion makes you look weak, so I ignored all signs of companionship and I avoided those that were willing to be close to me. Now, I know better.

In the right company, we gain strength from those around us. We are encouraged, hopeful and strengthened. It feels good to always have someone watch out for you, someone you are so confident of. You are so sure they will be around for you.

The way I see it, the company you keep should make you better not worse. And the feeling is mutual, as they make you improve, you do the same to them.

Companion can be refreshing.
Get into the company of good friends, and you will not regret it.

Thank you for your time...
