If animals could talk, what a wonder it would be,
To hear the heart's true whispers, wild and free.
No longer guessing love, a silent, wagging tale,
But words to cheer our weary souls, beyond the veil.

Beyond the wagging tail, a voice so clear,
To share a joke, to calm a rising fear.
To laugh at antics, in their quirky ways,
Or learn from wisdom in their quiet days.

Their words could change the fate of many, true,
A whisper from the dog, a thief exposed to view.
Or secrets from the cat, of worlds disclosed,
Perhaps of witches, seen with ancient eyes, new truths unposed.

Yet still, a twist, where truth might take a bend,
The cat might blame the man, a loyal friend.
The dog, his laziness, a clever guise,
New troubles brewing, in their knowing eyes.

Nice topic today, made me wonder if we were to switch form with our pets for an hour👀👀... Bingo would have tied a chain around my neck or locked me up😂😂. It's really been a long time and I miss having a dog.
