Poem X

I am this miserable,
motionless.
I hated the cobblestones
of a
dirty street
where the seasons
killed the passing of days.
I was a leaf and drizzle
every night
in search of a hand,
a weapon,
something to extinguish this
that threatens to live.

Soy este miserable,
inmóvil.
Odié los adoquines
de una calle
sucia
donde las estaciones
mataron el paso de los días.
Fui hoja y llovizna

There is a time when we are all miserable. Is there a hand to grab when we go down in the street?
Drizzle and cobblestones is a dangerous combination.
Let's reach out to each other and paint our spot cheerfully.

We go through various moods in life. The important thing is to change. To improve our thinking. And, why not, paint?

Is it important to change? I am not that sure. You can take meds against moid swings but they wipe out all feelings. How to paint something mad, crazy, sad or happy with true colours if nothing is felt?
There's no artist if no feelings. Instead of paint we can use (colour) pencils or all shades of gray like aellly. 😁
Flexibility might be the key (don't bite on it). Is there power at the end of the day, morning or night?

I thought of owls, they start calling at night while the wolves cry.

A creative Saturday, a good day to plan a holiday at sea with a place to stay overnight. Can Dad get a car?
Breeding fish... How about a tank inside?

It's strange, sometimes, what one writes. Not everything is part of the artist. It would be difficult to stop painting or writing. Although I've gone a long time without writing, the muses have always been around me.
Thoughts can always be changed for the better. It's an obligation to change, to improve, to be better people.
Buy a car? Unless it's a toy. Fish tanks are expensive, like everything else. Fish in the world aren't classified as pets; they're among luxury items.

Oh your poem is just adorable. Being miserable is the feeling we all feel sometimes in our lives. It is the most difficult part of life when you are around the people where no one is yours.

Good writer indeed 💯🎀

Thanks for the comment. In the midst of endless doubt, we've all felt this way more than once. Who hasn't been there? Managing your feelings, putting the brakes on, knowing how to say enough. Choosing to walk away can always be an option. Art is directing your feelings, feeling what you do. True art is born from feeling and connecting, from magic flowing through the soul.

You are absolutely right. Your words are showing that you are a born writer. Keep it up.

I always feel like a little apprentice. You learn from everyone, I just pay attention. I listen to what the words mean. I look beneath the waters, at their stillness and apparent transparency. I try to give them form.
Just embracing art in our lives, humanizing through art.
The pleasure of meeting you is mine.

A word can have many meanings and each person understands it through their own consciousness, their own experience, and their own inner reflection.
The silence of water also says something, and so does dirt.
Sometimes a face is clearly visible in clear water and sometimes a blurred reflection in this water is seen only by those whose eyes go deep inside.
Now think for yourself.... Is art only about giving form or also about showing the truth?

Art can have many facets. The writer's work, that is, expressing the unspeakable with the same words we all know, that disposition, that play on chosen words, is what becomes art or not. It could be used to tell the truth, to motivate; everything has different ways of interpreting it. But sometimes art is mixed with politics, and, in my view, art is not political. Art is emotions flowing, connecting like-minded people, exalting the beauty and humanity in each being.

The true essence of art is what comes from the heart, without any agenda, just a true feeling.
But perhaps sometimes circumstances, society, and time itself make art political, whether we like it or not.
Still, if art connects people, supports truth, and gives space to beauty, then that art is worthy of survival.
Your theory is respectable.
