Seeing the fresh wound cut on Ronnie's right hand wrist, tension grew more in the heart of Timothy who has already become suspicious of his room mate Ronnie.

Immediately, he had a flash back of the incident were he witnessing Ronnie pull out a bag of tool under the bed. The picture of the gun never left his mind.

Ronnie noticed that Timothy was standing mute as though he was lost in thought and decided to ask while he tapped him by the shoulder.

"Timothy why are you standing like a statue? Is there a problem?"

Lost is thought,

Timothy exclamation with a shock "hmm am fine, just that am afraid of people who tend to present themselves as my friends yet hide things from me"

Ronnie responded;

What do you mean? Did you have a fight with any of your friends, upon asking those questions he pulled a chair over to Timothy so that he can seat down.

Timothy seated on the chair replied "I remembered asking you why you have the bag containing some tools including the gun but you asked me to forget about it. Now you have a big cut on your wrist. Am I truly safe with you?"

Ronnie's blue bright eyes looked at Timothy as though he was trying to read the content of his heart. He nodded his head and told Timothy that he had the cut while trying to clean the glass windows.

At this point Timothy was trying to maintain a calm tune because he was already angry, feeling lied to, he stood up and said I guess I need to call the police, banging the door as he left the room.

Timothy avoided Ronnie as much as he can for the next 3 days. He didn't even attend lectures in school anymore because he was scared, he only spent time at his uncle's house just Incase Ronnie tries to look for him in his school.

That was exactly what happened because Ronnie got worried that he hasn't seen Timothy for days, he has never slept out before, since he started living with him, night time was their favorite time together. They spend the nights gisting like ladies who just found new love.

The recent gossip in the neighborhood of kidnappings and robbery attacks in supermarkets, banks and homes made Timothy more suspicious of his roommate and afraid to go back home, he didn't feel safe anymore going to live with Ronnie. First he thought to himself,

What if am sleeping at home and gets stabbed by Ronnie? Or what if some of the persons he has robbed come to the house to arrest me as accomplice?

Timothy couldn't hold his peace anymore so he decided to inform his uncle about his ordeal. Upon hearing all Timothy said, they decided to call the police in other to arrest Ronnie for questioning.

Three police men with hand cuff and pistols fully dressed for an arrest accompanied Timothy and his uncle to the apartment where Timothy lives.

Knocking at the door but no response, Timothy pushed the door. Shockingly Timothy noticed his apartment wasn't locked.He wondered why. The 3 police men went in first while Timothy and uncle followed at the back.

The apartment looks empty with no one inside says the one of the police man. Timothy quickly opened the wardrobe to check for Ronnie's clothes ,only to notice that his belongings was no longer there. Just a note handwritten and placed on top of a bag.

Timothy stylishly picked the note to read;

Hi Tim,

By the time you are reading this note, I will not only be gone from your apartment but also from your life.

I am not who you thought I was. I only tried to help you fix the mess you got into with one of your lecturers, along the line I got the cut on my wrist. That lecturer will no longer bother you again.

As for the bag of tool, it is my property and I do not owe you an explanation but you can refer to me as your guardian Angel.

Timothy eyes almost went blur as he was done reading the letter. Only him understood what Ronnie meant, he was full of regrets as he sat on the floor with his two hands on his head.
