"Wordsmiths Fiction Week 2: Season 24 – The Envelope"

Today, I will complete the rest of @waqarahmadshah's story in Steemit Challenge 24. The story is called Wordsmiths Fiction Week 2: The Envelope | Steemit Challenge Season 24. I hope everyone enjoys reading the last part of the story.

When Diego opened the envelope and started reading, he was sweating profusely. The supervisor came and asked Diego what was written on the envelope. Diego took the envelope and went home. Diego was very sad. The letter inside the envelope said that Thiago had seven days left to live on Earth. However, he would be saved if someone donated half of his life. The person who came in the car was an angel. Diego's time on Earth is seven days from today.

Diego tries to calm himself down and boost his morale. He starts discussing the letter with all his family members. Then, after discussing it with his family, Diego decides that he will spend these seven days in the forest meditating on God. Diego says goodbye to his family members and goes to a forest to meditate on God. He does good deeds every day to please God. In this way, he spends four days. Thiago has three more days on Earth.

There was a tribe living in the jungle. There was a chief of the tribe. The animals, birds and people of the jungle respected the tribe chief. The chief had a beautiful daughter. But the girl was blind. The tribe chief announced to the whole jungle that he would give her everything she wanted if he married his daughter. Then Diego agreed to marry the blind girl. The blind girl got married to Diego with great fanfare.

The day after the wedding, the tribe chief called Diego and asked for his needs. Then Diego told the tribe chief what he had written in his letter. Then Diego had one more day left on earth. The chief of the tribe was very worried. Diego told the blind girl his whole story. The blind girl was very religious. The blind girl talked to her father and gave half of her life to Diego. Diego started a new life after getting half of his life from the blind girl.

Then Diego took his blind and beautiful wife from the jungle and left for his country. The animals and birds of the jungle and the chief of the tribe bid them farewell. Diego returned home from the jungle with a new life. Diego's entire family was surprised to see Diego alive. Diego took his blind wife to a big hospital to see a doctor. An ophthalmologist decided to operate on Diego's blind wife's eyes.

While performing an eye operation on Diego's wife, the doctor finds a necklace around her neck. The doctor sees a picture of himself and his wife on the necklace. After the eye operation, the doctor calls Diego. The doctor wants to know about the blind girl from Diego. Diego tells the doctor the whole story. The doctor gets emotional. The blind girl is the doctor's lost child. Twenty years ago, the doctor and his wife went to the jungle. Suddenly, darkness falls in the jungle, and a cyclone starts. The three-year-old girl who was with the doctor goes missing. The necklace on the doctor's daughter's neck and the necklace on the blind girl's neck are the same.

After the operation, the girl recovered; Diego took the doctor with him to the tribe chief in the jungle. Then, the tribe chief told him about finding the girl in the jungle. The little girl was crying after being hit by a cyclone in the jungle that day. Then, an elephant brought the little girl to the tribe chief. The hurricane damaged the girl's eyes. The chief of the tribe raised the girl as his daughter. The doctor and the doctor's wife found their child and hugged her. Then everyone in the jungle was very happy. Thus, a letter brought joy to Diego, the blind girl, and the doctor.
