We must all cultivate the exercise culture; being fit should not be an exclusive preserve for sportsmen. Whether you are a president, governor, chairman, doctor, reverend, engineer, artisan, businessman, student e.t.c. you need it to obtain an ultimate lifestyle. Too many people complain about being overweight (it’s your habit and accumulation of excess food and less physical activities).

The best way to exercise will depend on whether you want fat burning, fitness or muscle toning. The way we choose to exercise determines the results and which fuel the working cells use. For example, a more aggressive way of exercise will result in the use of carbohydrate as the main source of energy and will even stress the muscles enough to cause the toning or building up of muscles. A more gentle way of exercising means the cells can best use the slow-burning fuel-fat.
Time may also come into the equation; the best way to exercise for effective fat burning is at a low intensity for at least 30 minutes. However, for increased fitness, it requires a moderate level of effort but performed for 15 minutes.
Avoid using pills:
Many of the over-the-counter diet pills in the market claim that a person can lose a lot of weight without diet and exercise. These claims are often proven not to be true. In fact, because the body eventually builds up a tolerance to the pills, most people put the weight back on and then some. Since diet and exercise tend to not be occurring in conjunction with the use of diet pills, the body cannot fight the fat with higher metabolism or greater muscle tone.
It is important to be aware of the potential side effects that using any diet pill can cause. Different pills have different side effects, depending on their ingredients, and the functions they perform e.g.
a. Some fat-blocking diet pills can cause painful gas and diarrhea.
b. Some appetite suppressants contain stimulants (such as caffeine and ephedrine) which elevate the heart rate and blood pressure. This can increase the risk of heart attack or heart disease to the user.
Diet pills can be dangerous if they are misused. Eating right and exercising are the best ways to combat weight issues, as well as to maintain a strong body and mind.

fitness is the result of regular physical activity, proper diet and nutrition, and proper rest for physical recovery within the parameters allowed by the genome (the complete set of cells in the body). Physical fitness is often divided into the following types: Agility, Balance, Body composition, cardiovascular endurance, Coordination, Flexibility, Muscular strength & Endurance, Speed.
Mental and emotional healths are also important part of overall fitness. Hence, one may be physically fit but may still suffer from mental illness or have emotional problems. The ideal triangle is balanced in all areas. Physical, mental and spiritual exercise is paramount.
Finally, a lot of people complain about time. Don’t forget that the best time manager is you, if you plan your time well, you would have no regret. Make provision for this either at home, office, and gym, compound or in the field. Make sure you start an exercise program by consulting a fitness instructor to ascertain you Body Mass Index (BMI), Blood pressure/Hypertension, your bone structure, an accident case (if any), age factor, your kind of job.
