RE: “Today we look back on things like slavery, racism, sexism and child labor in disbelief. In 50 years’ time, what things do you think people will come to look back on in the same way?” - ecoTrain Question Of The Week”
Hi @likedeeler to me this is a great post. You bring up points that resonate with me and provoke a response.
With the question regarding funding the military, the most valuable asset the state has are the people living under its jurisdiction. I would have thought rather than avoiding tax a more direct way would be to target the people most likely to be drawn to military service. When people are aware of the reality of a better way, they will work hard for it and protect it.
Now we can put to work hundreds of people, pay them through the blockchain to report and make know court room proceedings. this would end in reforming the legal institutions.
We can completely dominate politics through the blockchain. its all here for us, just waiting for us to catch up
Yes, you are right, best case scenario was if nobody joined the military, but soldiers could be replaced by robots and AI also. Anyway, my proposal was meant as an immediate remedy for someone who does not like to pay tax for the military, a solution on an individual basis.
fair enough. Did i offend ecotrain some how by any chance ?
I don´t think so, but what do I know? 😉
Surely not! Just a discussion, to which you brought some great ideas!
@joe.public @ecotrain and all the passengers on it are always open to discussions and different ideas and discussions are exactly what we need to bring positive changes in the world.
This is a powerful way to phrase it! We want all input - to make a better world!
