WHY SOME ARE NOT MANIFESTING 1

"SO the child grew and became strong in spirit, AND WAS IN THE DESERTS TILL THE DAY OF HIS MANIFESTATION TO ISRAEL."
Luke 1:80 (NKJV)

• The Believers who are not manifesting, why are they not?

• There are any number of professed Believers, who are not manifesting. In fact, the lives of many of such are not different from that of the unbelievers.
• They indulge their flesh in different sinful habits which are found in the lives of those who do not live for God (Romans 6:16; Ephesians 4:17; 1 Peter 4:1,2).

11 LIKEWISE YOU ALSO, RECKON [consider] YOURSELVES TO BE DEAD INDEED TO SIN, BUT ALIVE TO GOD IN CHRIST JESUS OUR LORD.
12 THEREFORE DO NOT LET SIN REIGN IN YOUR MORTAL BODY, THAT YOU SHOULD OBEY IT IN ITS LUSTS.
13 AND DO NOT PRESENT YOUR MEMBERS AS INSTRUMENTS OF UNRIGHTEOUSNESS TO SIN, BUT PRESENT YOURSELVES TO GOD AS BEING ALIVE FROM THE DEAD, AND YOUR MEMBERS AS INSTRUMENTS OF RIGHTEOUSNESS TO GOD.
14 FOR SIN SHALL NOT HAVE DOMINION OVER YOU, FOR YOU ARE NOT UNDER LAW BUT UNDER GRACE.
16 DO YOU NOT KNOW THAT TO WHOM YOU PRESENT YOURSELVES SLAVES TO OBEY, YOU ARE THAT ONE'S SLAVES WHOM YOU OBEY, WHETHER OF SIN LEADING TO DEATH, OR OF OBEDIENCE LEADING TO RIGHTEOUSNESS?"
Romans 6:11-14,16 (NKJV)

I. Sinfulness is one of the things that would not make a believer manifest. When you live in sin, you give access to the devil in your life (Ephesians 4:27).

• The Believers who lived in sin could not manifest because they have the property of the devil, sin, in their lives (John 14:30).
• When the devil found his property in your life, he easily manipulates your life, use you as an instrument for his purposes. Whereas, you are meant to be God's property that is being used for His purposes.
• The question is, Is God being made known through your life, wherever you find yourself? Are you a True light or not? Remember you are meant or supposed to illuminate this world of darkness? (Matthew 5:14-16).

II. Spiritual apathy or indifference, or lack of interest or concern, regarding matters that are of spiritual importance.

• Indifference to the things of the spirit leads to immaturity or spiritual dwarfishness. This is failure to grow in the things of the spirit, in your walk with God. Thus, a Believer of such could not manifest or fulfil God's Will or plan for their lives.
• When you shied away from engaging in spiritual exercises, you become stunted in your spiritual Growth. Such a Believer would find it difficult to discern what God wanted them to do.
• Remember, being led of the Spirit does mean maturity, and sonship (Romans 8:14). Those who are led by God are the ones who heard from God and receive directions, and they know where they are going. The fact that they are being led by God means they have His backing.
• Maturity of a Believer is done through the Word of God; the reading, studying, pondering, and the doing or practicing of it, plus prayers, and other spiritual exercise.

III. Another reason why a number of Believers are not manifesting is being disobedient to the instructions of God—what they are led to do by God.

• It is not enough to be led, but being a doer, the obedience, is much more important to God (1 Samuel 16:22). Whatever Sacrifice, whatever commitment, of a Believer in the Kingdom; If what is being done was not commanded or led to be done, It all would to be amounted to a wasted effort.
• Manifestation started with obedience to whatever you are led to do. The power of God, the anointing to manifest, is not made available for those who are not obedient to God's leadings or instructions.
• No manifestation without a complete obedience. You cannot control the Holy Spirit, neither can you feigned or counterfeited His moves. You can only shine and be announced, be made known or publicized, that is, manifest, when you are doing the right thing—the thing commanded you to do by God.

• You will not fail in Jesus' name.

• Should there be any ailment in your body, receive your healing now in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.
• Whatever is not planted by God that is working against your health and wellness is cursed and completely uprooted in Jesus' mighty name.

STEPS TO SALVATION
• Take notice of this:
IF you are yet to take the step of salvation, that is, yet to be born-again, do it now, tomorrow might be too late (2 Corinthians 6:1,2; Hebrews 3:7,8,15).
a. Acknowledge that you are a sinner and confess your Sins (1 John 1:9); And ask Jesus Christ to come into your life (Revelation 3:20).
b. Confess that you believe in your heart that Jesus Christ is Lord, and that you confess it with your mouth, Thus, you accept Him As your Lord and Saviour (Romans 10:9,10).
c. As you took the steps A and B your name is written in the Book of Life (Philippians 4:3; Revelation 3:8).
