6 SUCH PEOPLE WILL NOT BE OVERCOME BY EVIL. Those who are righteous will be long remembered.
7 They do not fear bad news; they confidently trust the LORD to care for them.
8 THEY ARE CONFIDENT AND FEARLESS AND CAN FACE THEIR FOES TRIUMPHANTLY."
Psalm 112:1-8 (NLT)
• If you had been a victim of ministers who are using gimmicks to collect money from people, who make merchandise of people; that does not mean the principle of financial success is not genuine and biblical.
- I discovered that a number of ministers or those who are criticizing the teaching of prosperity are victims of false prophets or teachers of prosperity—those who did not have the Anointing for it, financial success, on their lives and ministries but taking advantage of people.
SUCH people who have been exploited by these false ministers are hurting, they have been wounded by the false prophets or teachers of prosperity. - A genuine believer should not allow wounded and frustrated people, the opposers of the Bible, to mislead him or her. The principle of Giving, seed-sowing, is genuine and biblical. It is a means of blessing for the people of God.
- Giving is a means of deliverance also. God will remember your Seed in the time of tribulations: "THEY ARE CONFIDENT AND FEARLESS AND CAN FACE THEIR FOES TRIUMPHANTLY" (Psalm 112:8).
- And all goes well for those who are generous:
2 THEIR CHILDREN WILL BE SUCCESSFUL EVERYWHERE; AN ENTIRE GENERATION OF GODLY PEOPLE WILL BE BLESSED. 3 THEY THEMSELVES WILL BE WEALTHY, AND THEIR GOOD DEEDS WILL LAST FOREVER" (Psalm 112:2,3 NLT).
• There are general Giving, which the Bible specified that every Believer should give. And there is an instructional Giving which God may ask a believer to give. It is also known as sacrifice or sacrificial giving (Genesis 22:1-3).
- Every seed you sow, offering you give, attracts a reward. But, an instructional Giving is usually targeted or aimed at a particular thing which God wanted to do, or a need he wanted to meet, in the life of whoever or the believer whom the instruction was given.
- If your Heart is stirred to give to God; His work, minister, or the Needy; do not hesitate, there is a reason for it—it is for your lifting or blessing, that is, to meet a particular need in your life.
- The need might not even be a material need, It might be on your health, or marriage or home, or whatever. God will remember your Seed and bless your children.
- Living in line with the Bible, the Word of God, a holy life, and that with the principle of Giving or seed-sowing; would make you receive God's favour and be preserved in the time of evil or predicament—you would be preserved because of your generousity: "LIGHT SHINES IN THE DARKNESS FOR THE GODLY. THEY ARE GENEROUS, COMPASSIONATE, AND RIGHTEOUS" (Psalm 112:4 NLT).
• Choose to live your life for God. Obey His commands and live according to His principles.
- Happy are those who delight in doing or obeying His commands (Psalm 112:1). Secrets of success, blessing, greatness, and protection and perpetuity are in the doing or obeying of His commands.
- What He commanded to do might not be easy to do, but whatever it is, there is a Joy in the doing or obeying of it.
- Remember, God will not forget or forsake the righteous, their generations are blessed (Psalm 112:2).
- Thus, live right, live Giving, you will not regret at the end. And you shall be favoured!
• You will not fail in Jesus' name.
- Should there be any ailment in your body, receive your healing now in Jesus' name.
- Whatever is not of God in your body, such is completely uprooted in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.
Peace!
