It used 1,500 watts. Sat around for years in its original unopened box. We received it as a gift. We tried to give it away, hand it off as a present. What is it?

You guessed it!

A Waffle Iron!

Which quickly and easily makes delicious waffles for everyone!

This was the first one. Beginner's luck.

Actually the first one did not come out correctly and fell into pieces. Which it says in the directions will happen because of some coating, or not.

By the next one, we realized we had to wait for the green 'DONE' LIGHT to come on. Then it is done.

So delicious and it has been years since we ate waffles.

Now there is the rice cooker and we can also use it. Automatic perfect rice made in a nonstick bucket that nears boils over onto the stove. Horrible pan cleaning - instantly gone.

Another hot item that sat for years waiting. A bit of cleaning we'll be ricey and dicey.

Ah the marvels of do it yourself home electricity producing systems that actually work. Once paid for, no more electricity costs. Of course parts always break but...we fix and repair the broken so we have not missed out.
