CONTEST: "The Keyword of the Week" / WETTBEWERB: "Das Schlüsselwort der Woche"

Good evening, Dear Dreamers!

It is what it is. The ‘Keyword of the Week’ was always a fun competition that was pretty much guaranteed to produce posts worth reading and was slowly but steadily growing in popularity. Until... the rule change I approached you with after Easter. The idea that the two winners chosen by me would each determine the new keywords worked very well exactly twice. I was very happy at the prospect of generating a bit more interaction and shared responsibility.

Well, in the meantime, any such momentum has gone to sleep. @sana-khan01, as a winner from the previous week, didn't get round to sharing her new keyword. @sur-riti submitted his later because he was unable to do earlier. However, this was at a time when nobody was likely to have checked the comments under the contest post.

So what do we do? Do we go back to the old system and I call out a keyword every week as before? Or can this Community do more?

For the next round - I'll leave the previous one uncommented and without a summary - both keywords remain valid:

Guten Abend, liebe Träumer!

Es ist, wie es ist. Das “Schlüsselwort der Woche“ war immer ein schöner Wettbewerb, der ziemlich garantiert für lesenswerte Beiträge sorgte und sich langsam, aber stetig wachsender Beliebtheit erfreute. Bis… zu der Regeländerung, mit der ich nach Ostern an Euch herantrat. Die Idee, daß die beiden von mir gekürten Sieger die jeweils neuen Schlüsselwörter bestimmen, hat genau zwei Mal sehr gut funktioniert. Ich war sehr froh über die Aussicht, etwas mehr Interaktion und geteilte Verantwortlichkeit zu generieren.

Nun, in der Zwischenzeit ist jeglicher derartiger Impuls eingeschlafen. @sana-khan01 als eine Gewinnerin der Vorwoche kam nicht dazu, ihr neues Schlüsselwort mitzuteilen. @sur-riti hat seins nachgereicht, weil er verhindert war. Allerdings zu einem Zeitpunkt, wo niemand mehr nach den Kommentaren unter dem Wettbewerbspost geschaut haben dürfte.

Was tun wir also? Kehren wir zum alten System zurück und ich rufe jede Woche ein Schlüsselwort aus wie zuvor? Oder kann diese Community doch mehr?

Für die nächste Runde – die gerade vergangene lasse ich unkommentiert und ohne Resümee offen – bleiben beide aufgebotenen Schlüsselwörter gültig:
