The keyword of the week / The shadow of my house
She bought a small house in the city, just as she had wanted for a long time. She found it inexpensive, as it was a studio-type house. It had two bedrooms, a bathroom, a dining room, a living room, and a small terrace, just enough to put three chairs at the entrance to the house.
The only problem was that she had some small details that she had to correct. Like the paint, some cracks in the wall, and some pipes with wear and tear. She accepted it like this. Little by little, she would fix it up.
She invited her friends to the inauguration; there were four friends in total, but when they got together, they made 10 people.
They met in the afternoon. The place was the master bedroom, where the double bed, two mattresses and a giant flat screen TV to watch her movies on stereo. Especially the mystery movies. Already at night, and after watching a The movie is very scary and creepy, so they decide before watching the next one to order and make something to eat.
Claudia, one of them, suggested... I want to make popcorn!
To which the owner of the apartment, Juliana said with pleasure.... All right, in the cupboard you will find the bags of corn to make them, and I'll take care of that. In the meantime I will call Luis, my friend from the pizzeria, to bring us a pizza for dinner later on-

Shadow
Juliana asked her friend to send her the pizza by delivery, as usual.
-I'll make the drink, I brought something to prepare..." said the craziest of the group, Cristina, in a crazy voice.
They all laughed and happily set about their tasks. While Laura said:
-Since I have nothing else to do, I will supervise that everyone is safe and sound doing their activities, hahaha.
After all this, they went back to the bedroom. There the four of them were laughing about their crazy adventures together, when they heard the voice of the delívery person who was already inside the house.
Juliana is impressed and says to the young man, But how did you get in if the door was locked? And she looks at her friends, waiting for someone to tell her otherwise.
The young man answers - the boy outside told me to come in, and the door was ajar.
Juliana, already out of bed, goes out to the terrace to see who is sitting in the chair. She just watches her rocking incessantly, but there is no one visible. She is more surprised and goes back to the kitchen to meet the delivery person and gets ready to take the pizza order. The young man delivers it and leaves.
When Juliana remembers that she did not tip the young man, she calls Luis to apologize. Luis tells her that he apologizes because he has had some problems and has not been able to deliver the pizza, but that it is on its way. To which Juliana replies... but I just got the pizza!
She looks at the kitchen table, and the pizza is not where he left it. As she goes to the bedroom and checks, she realizes that it's true, the pizza is gone. She feels stunned and unable to speak, she hears the deli again saying...
The pizza is here!
Her heart races, she tells the young man who opened the door if she herself closed it when she checked the first time... again the same answer from the young man...
Everything repeats itself again... she takes the pizza, opens the door to let the delivery out, looks at the rocking chair as it moves, with no one sitting there. She closes the door quickly and goes to the bedroom.
She tells the girls what has happened, and they laugh, thinking their friend is just teasing to make the night funnier.
Juliana's face is very faded; she doesn't know what has happened. But something is happening, and she can't explain it. One of her friends is playing a joke on her, or certainly, in the house, there is a spectral form trying to tell her of her presence.
She tells her friends that she is going to the bathroom. She washes her face and looks at her worried face in the mirror. She opens the door, and when she turns off the bathroom light, she can see in the mirror that there is someone behind her. She quickly turns around, and there is no one there. She can't stand it anymore and falls to the floor in shock.
Her friends hear the thump of something heavy falling to the floor and run out of the room to see their friend lying on the floor. They come to her aid, she is unresponsive, and they place her on the bed. While they are trying to revive her, they take her blood pressure and pulse. Both are very rapid. Before they decide to take her to the hospital, Juliana starts to react.
When she wakes up from lethargy, she tells her friends what happened. They look at each other's faces and begin to think that their friend is going through a very strange crisis. She has never spoken to them that way before.
They convince her to go to the doctor in the morning, and they all decide to end the night in peace. No mystery movies and much less heavy food. They go to bed as they had arranged before and thus keep an eye on Juliana's health.
At midnight, Cristina, the funniest of the group, has to go to the bathroom urgently. She goes out as fast as she can, urinates with the door open and the light off, when she sits up, she sees a shadow pass in the dark and asks... who has been urinating like me, hehehe-
Nobody answers. He turns on the bathroom light and looks into the hallway, without seeing anyone. He turns off the light again and goes to wash his hands. She lifts her face and looks in the mirror; she sees a figure behind her. She is frightened, turns around, and there is no one. Looks in the mirror again, and there is a shadow behind her. She could no longer contain a scream of fright that woke everyone up.
They run out of the room, run into each other, and hold hands. Cristina tells them what she has seen and suggests turning on all the lights. Because at that moment Juliana tells them... you see, I was right, there is something strange tonight here in the house.
They all get ready to grab their things and go home. That thing keeps them all scared. As long as they don't know what's wandering around, they leave. Even Juliana leaves, since she suffered a fall and could not continue to receive scares.
They all run out in their pajamas, and they stay at Laura's house; she is the one who drives. They take Juliana in the morning to a specialist and confirm that her exams and everything are fine. They return home.
Being in a group and talking, they decide to look for a friend of Laura's who is a medium. They ask her to please help them see what is going on in her friend's house.
The medium accepts, and they all go back to Juliana's house together. Everything is the same. Even all the lights are still on. The 5 women stay in the room that is unoccupied, where they place cushions and a table for the medium.
She is an elderly person with crucifixes and crosses on her neck and wrists. She explains that they should trust her and let her direct everything. They nodded, and the call began.
The medium asked who was there as a shadow. Three times she did so. On the third time, a voice answers her and tells her that he has been pulled out of his dream. Someone made him cross lines while watching a mystery movie with a curse. That movie carries an implicit curse for anyone who manages to awaken his spirit.
He was the actor of the movie and asked for fame with the movie; he got it, but his soul was given in exchange for the darkness. Every time someone watches the movie, it makes them cross the lines that separate them from the abyss. Until he is returned, he would stay there in that house and behind the 4 girls.
The medium asks him what to do to make him go back to where he came from. To which he told her... they must break all contact with this film, everything that could allow me to come back here again. If they do not, my return will be fatal to the one who fails to do so.
So they did. They broke everything that had to do with that movie. Plus, they promised each other that they would only watch romantic movies when they got together again.

There are things of things my friend, and it is mainly when we are skeptical that they happen.
There was a time when I didn't believe that kind of thing could exist, until it happened to me. However, thank God I did not visualize any presence, but I did visualize sounds and knocking on a table, right where I was sitting, while I was working late at night. Something like someone banging on the table repeatedly, and obviously, since there was nothing and no one else, you immediately know what it is and your skin crawls.
I liked the story my friend, it has a good plot, and poor girls, what's their fault that the main actor made a pact to gain fame, they just wanted to enjoy a good movie.

There is a phrase that is said a lot over there: what is still is left still.
People like to watch movies that, far from amusing, produce fright, fear, mental and cardiac agitation. That's what they call group entertainment. To me it seems to me that this is calling negative things to our life.
It is like saying that if you are optimistic, always fill yourself with positive thoughts, phrases and people because that aura makes you have good energies around you. But if instead you surround yourself with screams, atrocious characters, blood, terror... what do you think will surround you?
I don't like horror movies, or massacres, or things that produce fear. Because then negative thoughts follow me and I have to be with lights to forget.
I can write about this subject because of the readings I have done about scares and the stories of people in rural areas, but that's as far as it goes.
I have never had these experiences and hope never, ever, ever to have them.

I avoid stories about ghosts or magic. Scenes of bloody violence are also not for me. I skip anything that tries to scare people. Such things stay in my head and make me feel bad.

You are so right in what you say, horror scenes are too disturbing to a nervous psyche. I don't like watching horror movies and their ilk. These stories I write are very helpless, not disturbing.
