SC S24W5: Anime
I am happy to be part of the Steemit Drawing Contest S24W5 once again! Last time I sketch the human body as part of a creative challenge and this time I decided to take it further by creating a detailed anime-style drawing. Anime is not just a style its a beautiful art form full of emotion story and expresion. The unique features like big expressive eyes detailed hair and soft lines make it enjoyable to both draw and view.
For this challenge I created original sketch titled
"Peaceful Moment Under the Sakura Tree"
It shows quiet and calm anime girl sitting under a blooming sakura (cherry blossom) tree. This Scene is inspired by classic peaceful anime moments where character reflect or dream While surrounded by nature.
Materials Used:
- HB Pencil
- Fine Liner Pen
- Eraser
- A4 Paper
Step 1: Rough Sketch Shape and Proportions
I started by lightly sketching the basic figure using guidelines for the head shoulders arms and legs. This rough structure helped me keep the proportions accurate and position the Character naturally under the tree.
This step was important to build a strong base before moving into fine detail.
Step 2: Refining the Outline Clean and Aesthetic Lines
After finalizing the pose I began tracing over the rough lines with more precise strokes. I added the shape of the clothing face and posture in Smooth clean line to prepared for the final detail.
The focus was on neatness & balance to give it that classic anime sketch look.
Step 3: Detailing the Eyes and Hair Key Anime Features
The most iconic part of anime drawings is the eyes and hair. I carefully added reflections and light shadows in the eye to bring them to life. I also shaped the hair with Soft flowing strands to give a sense of movement in the gentle breeze.I completed the background with a sakura tree full of blossom and added falling petals to create a peaceful mood. I shaded the hair clothes and tree trunk Using soft strokes to Enhance depth. This step really help give the character her anime personality Calm thoughtful and elegant.

Observaciones y recomendaciones:
Realizaste un boceto el cual te permitió obtener la forma y proporciones correctas de tu dibujo; además te arriesgaste a realizar un personaje Animé de cuerpo completo y el resultado fue muy bueno.
Respecto al sombreado, creaste algunas zonas de oscuridad que hacen que el atuendo se aprecie mucho mejor, como recomendación te puedo sugerir que al momento de realizar el boceto, no marques demasiado las líneas (específicamente en el rostro) para que no se aprecien cuando el dibujo esté acabado, pero fue un buen trabajo.
