DroidCopter: Toy and Smartphone Drone

Small hobby self stabilizing drones with mounted cameras are possible today largely because of the technology the smartphone market made small and affordable. Here I took the idea literally, the smartphone provides the sensor and computation suite, which is easily mounted onto a cheap toy helicopter.

With an old smartphone running android, this whole project could cost under 100 bucks.
