Successes Registered in Cultivation of New land and Expansion of Grain Production Area | KCNA Watch
Pyongyang, May 16 (KCNA) -- Officials and working people across the country are taking active part in cultivating new land and expanding crop production area.
This year alone, over 900 hectares of new land have been put under cultivation and a large area has been turned into grain production land.
South Hamgyong Province removed a large volume of deposited ore residue at several farms of Tanchon City and gave precedence to land surveying to finish the designing of field rezoning, irrigation network and structures in a short span of time.
