Australians flock to parody sites on Facebook after news ban
The 10 top-performing posts by Australian Facebook pages on Thursday were nearly all from satirical sites, according to data from CrowdTangle, a Facebook-owned social media insights tool.
The list first shared by the Twitter account @FacebookTop10AU mostly contained posts from Australian comedic outlets The Chaser and Betoota Advocate.
Copying/Pasting full or partial texts with adding very little original content are frowned upon by the community. Repeated copy/paste posts could be considered spam. Spam is discouraged by the community and may result in the account being Blacklisted.
