STEEM POSTS

Sunderland don't particularly need a right-back this summer. Luke O'Nien and Conor McLaughlin leave them well-stocked in that position, with bigger priorities in the squad.

But following his release from Rangers, Football Insider claimed Sunderland and Fleetwood were battling for his signature this summer.

The ex-Liverpool player can operate as a left-back but is far more suited to the right side of defence.

It stinks of an agent looking to get his clients name out there to drum up interest.
