Second day busking - Tap-dancing on the streets of London - Introducing my busking spot

Hi dance and music community,

In my last post I told you how I started busking. Today I wanna show you my spot. This is not the best spot to make money, but it is the one with the best view.

I have been coming here only since last year, because I wanted a more peaceful place. Peaceful obviously also means less tips, but sometimes I think you just want to be happy, even when you make less money.

when I first came to London I used to work for a catering organisation called Off to Work and I used to work as a waitress at the savoy hotel, which is one of the buildings I can see from my spot,

I ABSOLUTELY hated it, and every time I am dancing there, I am happy I can look at it from the outside. Sometimes it is good If you remind yourself what you have left behind.

I always make sure That I don't get too close to any other buskers or beggars, that is kind of the code of conduct between street performers.

I bring my practice board, which is foldable and my feet and a little speaker. Sometimes I do a little Capella section, because that is what I am trying to develop, but normally I put a few tunes I wanna learn onto my playlist and just dance to that.

Here are two videos for you!

I hope you enjoy

I like the spot where you are busking. One of my first jobs was at The Savoy in 1991.
