New Kids On The Block has achieved universal success from their sophomore album "Hangin' Tough" which also influenced the eventual success of their self titled debut album. Their third studio album has been "Step by Step" which the title track became the lead single. It became the group's third number 1 hit on US Billboard Hot 100, and had gone platinum. It was also their 8th consecutive top 10 hit there. It charted at number 2 on UK Singles chart, while it reached the top 5 on Eurochart Hot 100.
