A game is any structured form of entertainment that comes with defined rules, challenges, and interactive elements, designed to engage its participants and provide a measure of enjoyment.
Some games are designed to be played indoors, some are exclusively outdoor games, some are classified as card games, board games and video games. While some games can be played alone, others will need a team or an opponent.
🎲 Did you play any traditional games in your childhood? What was it and how was it played?
Ooh! Yes. I was the game master and sometimes the creator or editor. I did not simply play a single game, I sampled a lot of games and created some too. We played war games, which is what is played today and called paintball or airsoft. We used a water pistol, got arranged into camps and got the water sprayed. Those who did not have water pistols used a syringe loaded with water.
Older kids use a syringe 💉, without the needle, the tip is punched into the seed of an avocado 🥑, the syringe's nozzle gets stocked. When the syringe's piston is squeezed, the pressure ejects the fragment that was stored in the syringe's nozzle with a popping sound. The ballistic travelled a short distance. With a good aim and careful timing, you hit the opponent.
I fell in love with chess, a board game with a lot of rules and strategies. Because I am really interested in learning and mastering the game, I love playing it. I enjoy playing it with learners and experts alike. While I learn and perfect my skills playing with learners, I try to get better playing with experts though I get crushed.🎲 Which board game do you really love and enjoy playing?
🎲 It's normal to have games on your phone. Do you have any? What is it about?
I do have games on my phone. At the moment, the newest game on my phone is Sudoku. It's a puzzle game involving numbers to be arranged horizontally and vertically. The aim is to fill in the missing numbers following a set of simple rules stating that no number should repeat itself vertically or horizontally. It must only appear once.
🎲 What game do you accept that you are not realy good at playing?
I am still a learner in the game of chess. Although at the moment, I am not yet good at it, I am sure I will soon be. I am making an effort to develop and improve winning strategies.
I try to practice regularly, learning new tactics and evaluating winning strategies.
But I really feel helpless when sitting in front of a deck of cards and the game is poker. I still don't understand the rules and do not have anyone to show me the way. I would have loved to learn and play it, I have the cards at home. I will welcome a tutor.
🎲 Which particular game is popular in your country?.
A board game called Ludo is very popular in Nigeria. It can be played by two or four players using one or two dice, with players controlling the different coloured pieces based on the value they get from throwing the dice.

Un juego es cualquier forma estructurada de entretenimiento con reglas definidas, desafíos y elementos interactivos, diseñados para involucrar a sus participantes y brindarles cierto disfrute.
Algunos juegos están diseñados para jugarse en interiores, otros son exclusivamente al aire libre, y algunos se clasifican como juegos de cartas, juegos de mesa y videojuegos. Si bien algunos juegos se pueden jugar en solitario, otros requieren un equipo o un oponente.
¿Jugaste a algún juego tradicional en tu infancia? ¿Cuáles eran y cómo se jugaban?
¡Oh! Sí. Yo era el maestro del juego y, a veces, el creador o editor. No jugaba solo a un juego, sino que probaba muchos y también creaba algunos. Jugábamos a juegos de guerra, que es lo que se juega hoy en día y se llama paintball o airsoft. Usábamos una pistola de agua, nos organizábamos en campamentos y nos rociaban con agua. Quienes no tenían pistolas de agua usaban una jeringa llena de agua. Los niños mayores usan una jeringa , sin aguja; la punta se clava en la semilla de un aguacate y la boquilla se obstruye. Al apretar el émbolo, la presión expulsa el fragmento almacenado en la boquilla con un chasquido. La bala recorrió una corta distancia. Con buena puntería y precisión, se golpea al oponente.
¿Qué juego de mesa te encanta y disfrutas jugando?
Me enamoré del ajedrez, un juego de mesa con muchas reglas y estrategias. Como me interesa mucho aprender y dominarlo, me encanta jugarlo. Disfruto jugando con principiantes y expertos. Mientras aprendo y perfecciono mis habilidades jugando con principiantes, intento mejorar jugando con expertos, aunque me agobio.
Es normal tener juegos en el teléfono. ¿Tienes alguno? ¿De qué se trata?
Tengo juegos en mi teléfono. Ahora mismo, el juego más nuevo es el Sudoku. Es un juego de rompecabezas con números que se organizan horizontal y verticalmente. El objetivo es completar los números que faltan siguiendo unas reglas sencillas que establecen que ningún número debe repetirse vertical ni horizontalmente. Solo debe aparecer una vez.
¿A qué juego te atreves a jugar que no se te da bien?
Todavía estoy aprendiendo ajedrez. Aunque por ahora no se me da bien, estoy seguro de que pronto lo seré. Me esfuerzo por desarrollar y mejorar estrategias ganadoras.
Intento practicar con regularidad, aprender nuevas tácticas y evaluar estrategias ganadoras.
Pero me siento realmente impotente frente a una baraja de cartas, y el juego es póker. Sigo sin entender las reglas y no tengo a nadie que me muestre el camino. Me encantaría aprenderlo y jugarlo; tengo las cartas en casa. Agradecería un tutor.
¿Qué juego en particular es popular en tu país?
Un juego de mesa llamado Ludo es muy popular en Nigeria. Se puede jugar con dos o cuatro jugadores usando uno o dos dados, y los jugadores controlan las piezas de diferentes colores según el valor que obtengan al lanzar los dados.

Definitivamente todos de niños hemos jugado y creado juegos, es la etapa donde utilizamos nuestra imaginación.
Tanto el ajedrez como el sudoku son juegos que requieren de mucha agilidad y concentración, a mi me gustan mucho ambos.
