The diary game//Spending Eid ul adha-A day of sacrifice//7 June 2025

Greetings

I started this special day(A dy of sacrifice) in the name of Allah who is most merciful and beneficent by praying fajar in early morning.After that I recited some surah from holy quran.

Applying mehndi(Hina) at my hand

My mother was preparing a yummy and chilled sweet dish for family members, although it was Eid ul adha-A day of enjoying organ meat but still we enjoyed sweet dish (Sheer khorma) before tasting salted meat.I made a beautiful mehndi(Hina) design at my hand and let it dry for 30 minutes and after that this is final look you can see in picture.

My Eid preparations

In my Eid preparations it's always important for girls to get ready with colourful clothes and to put on some make up at face and to wear some jewellery too so today I am wearing a jet black frock with grey and golden print.I also put on make up at my face in which there was foundation in amount of just like piece of peas and then compact powder, eyeliner, lipstick.In jewellery I just weared bangles.I made a three strand braid in my hair style.My final look you can see above.

Preparing veggies snacks

I went to kitchen after that because now it was a time to say takbeer and to sacrifice animal (Cow) for the sake of ALLAH and in remembrance of Sunnah of Hazrat Ibrahim and Hazrat Ismail (As).It is always a Sunnah to taste organ meat of your sacrificed animal at this special day as your first bite but there was a time of atleast 3 hours in making pieces of organ meat so I decided to prepare some snacks for butcher's and for family members so I am using some potatoes, onions,green chillies,gram flour and some spices for making these snacks.

Sacrificing a cow

I fried veggies snacks and everyone enjoyed them.This is how butchers were doing their task of making small pieces of meat and doing it in a proper sequence in which first they made organ meat pieces so that that may give it for cooking.Already lunch was too late.

Lunch preparations

I don't like to prepare organ meat because before cooking there's always a need to clean blood thoroughly from it but I don't like to do so that's why my mother add some vinegar and water in a tub and add organ meat containing lungs and liver in it and wash it for 15 minutes and repeat this procedure for 3 times.After meat was cleaned then gravy was also ready to some extent in which my mother added this meat and let it cook for 1 hour 30 minutes at medium flame.Then everyone enjoyed it but I just taste it as I don't like organ meat taste.

Meat distribution

At evening time it was a time to distribute meat in there equal parts in which one part was for poor and needy people,one part was for relatives and one part was for home.My father and mother started making packets for distributing meat.We distributed it in our neighbours,in poor and needy people,in our relatives and then we made packets for saving meat in fridge from our part.This is how meat was distributed equally.

It was an enjoyable day and lastly I just pray that May Allah accept our sacrifice that we did for sake of ALLAH'S will and happiness!Indeed he is a best creator and he knows everyone's deeds....
