Guava Photography
The abundance of guava trees in my locality inspired me to take a photo shoot and uncover the beauty often neglected by the locals in my place.
It rained the other day flushing all the dust the leaves has accumulated since we were having a sunny day a for over a month now.
I am pleased by the images I was able to take.
These guava leaves has many uses, I remember back in my childhood days and I had a diarrhea, we lived far from any health centers or hospitals and used the guava leaves by eating the young leaves instead. By the grace of the Almighty, I was healed.
Also, these leaved when boiled will act as antibiotics, it is often used in healing wounds, not only to children who got hurt by falling when playing but also to the mothers who just gave birth with their child.
Ripe Guava fruits are also great source of vitamin C, I remember back then when my favorite hang out was the guava tree, I climb on the tree whenever I can and hunt for ripe fruits. A disease came making most members of my family to get sick and I as the only one exempted and made it through the time with out having even just a fever.
I appreciate this plant, often undermined by most people but has countless benefits to human lives.
