Independence: what does it mean to you?

Hello friends, how are you all doing today, hope that you people will be fine and doing great in life. @colombiaoriginal organized a contest about independence. I am going to share my opinion according to the contest and participate in the contest by passing my entry.

"Independence"

Independence means without dependence on something, acting and taking decision on your own wish and will. Independence day is a day on which a country get it's independence from another country or get independence from rule of others. After independence, a country act on it's own and creates it's own government to rule on it's people.

¿What does independence mean to you?

Independence means a lot to me, you are acting and making decision by your own. You have right to do everything which is lawful and good for you. You are free to live and practice anything you want but it should be legal and not harming anyone. If a country or people are dependent so it creates a huge problem for them because they will follow the rules of the others or follow others. The main difference between an independent and dependent country is constitution; residing under your own constitution and other ones. The better one is living under rule of your own people because they will act and do things in favor of their own country's people.

Do you consider yourself an independent person? ¿Because?

I will say that no one is dependent except God. Everyone is dependent on God's Power and Decisions. Our lives in our God's will. However, if we consider our surrounding and our will, I will say that I am independent while making decisions and acting but financially I am dependent on my father.

¿What areas of your life do you feel you need to conquer independently?

The life which I am living in current stage should be the days that I should my own ways of earning and don't waste my time. I have completed half of my degree and 2 years are remaining in my bachelor's degree so I should be working on my skills to make something out of it and become financially stable, so that I can be able now to fulfill my own needs and then my family ones.

¿Do you think emotional independence is possible? ¿How do you define it?

Yes, emotional independence is possible. Emotional independence is your inner feelings for something or someone. How much you like, love and hate something or someone. Emotions are inner will which right of every person but again it should legal and under circumstances not forceful. e.g. Women in some cultures are not allowed to marry the person according to their will but in our religion it is everyone's right to make their decision by themselves but not by others. So, emotional independence is everyone's right and it forced by the government.

¿Is your country really experiencing economic and social independence?

No, my country struggles in both of economic and social way. Our taxes are used in the right place, elite and powerful people have control on it. In social way, our country still struggles; the minor and weak people struggles to make their independent decision.

¿Have you had to fight for your personal independence? Tell us your story

Life gives everyone a tough time which makes your days difficult to live. You have to struggle for everything and solve your problems in daily life. The struggle of everyday life is working for your independent life, which means you are fighting for your independence. Moreover, in our country their are a lot of issues which makes you struggle for independent life. My story for independence is becoming financial independent so I am working on everything which can make it possible.

¿What type of independence is most important: personal, economic or emotional? ¿Because?

Every type of independence is important for our life.

Independence is act of individuals according to their feelings and will. It can be emotional, personal or emotional which should be granted and achieved by people for their better life.
