I got this error while submitting a new post around 6:30-6:50 PM EST multiple times.
Maybe the node was experiencing some difficulties during that time or it was under heavy load.

That's what it looks like, and wouldn't surprise me. The steemd nodes have been under some pretty heavy loads over the last few weeks. I assume it worked after you tried again?
