Legend has it that when sunlight graces the glazed surface, the pagoda resembles a radiant rainbow, brilliant and dazzling from afar.
Thus, it is also known as the "Seven-Colored Rainbow."
Upon the thirteen octagonal stories of the Flying Rainbow Pagoda, intricately crafted glazed animal figures stand sentinel.
From the mouths of these beasts hang 114 golden bells.
As the wind rises, a chorus of chimes fills the air, bringing the glazed pagoda to life.
