Even Under a Cloudy Sky, Hangzhou Exudes Beauty: Turtle Pool Reaches the Pinnacle of Spring Scenery

in CCS2 months ago

Hangzhou is, without a doubt, the epitome of spring's charm! The western part of West Lake is blissfully uncrowded (perhaps everyone is concentrated on the eastern side and Broken Bridge). Today (March 18, 2023), I enthusiastically hiked twenty thousand steps.

Route: Prince Bay Park - Yuhu Bay - Turtle Pool - Maojiabu - Quyuan Garden. The entire journey confirms the saying: "Above there is heaven, below there are Suzhou and Hangzhou"—it's simply breathtaking! Yuhu Bay and Turtle Pool, in particular, offer a picturesque scene at every turn, adorned with a profusion of blooming Chinese violet cress. Maojiabu, in my opinion, is less captivating than the other two. If you prefer a shorter walk, I recommend focusing on Yuhu Bay and Turtle Pool.

You absolutely must visit Hangzhou! It's strikingly beautiful! For out-of-town visitors, I suggest staying near Siyan Well. Wake up early to see the tulips at Prince Bay Park, then return to the hotel for a rest before embarking on your hike—a perfectly balanced itinerary!
