The Diary Game: 21.07.2025 | A slow day with simple joys

The morning began quite normally. I woke up early, completed my breakfast, and spent some time on my smartphone. In the first half of the day, I had some bananas, something I hadn’t eaten in a long time.

After lunch, I took a short rest. In the afternoon, I decided to take a walk to the railway station. On my way, I saw an old, broken, and abandoned wagon. It looked like it might still be brought back to life with some repair. The sight of it reminded me of the moments in life when I felt broken too. May Allah grant me the strength and courage to move forward, just like that wagon might someday move again.

When I reached the station, I sat alone on a bench and spent some quiet time browsing my phone. I stayed there through the afternoon, enjoying the peaceful solitude of the railway platform.

In the evening, I felt like eating peanuts. So, I went to a nearby Bkash cash-out point to withdraw some money. It was close to a restaurant, and I suddenly craved something sweet.

I ended up having two different desserts, both with unique tastes. After that, I bought some peanuts and made my way to a friend’s house. We planned to go to the badminton court together.

Before heading to the court, my friend stopped to have a cup of tea. As we reached the court area, a load shedding occurred. So, we sat outside. My friend wanted some snacks, so he went to the nearby bus terminal to buy some. I asked him to treat me to a boiled egg, and a few minutes later, he returned with snacksband the egg I requested.

Soon after, the electricity came back, and we entered the badminton court. We passed the shuttle a few times, and later got some tea from the court's stall. Unfortunately, another round of load shedding hit the town. My friend and the other players had to wait for a long time to continue playing.

I sat in the gallery, feeling bored and exhausted in the heat without electricity. When power was finally restored, it was already late at night. I decided to return home. I had a late dinner and went to bed even later.
