Dry Mountains

Mountains are looking so dry. More than 4 years ago, I got to visit Daang Katutubo in Aguilar, and it looks beautiful. Mountains still has lots of trees. Even there are traces of deforestation, more trees can be seen them. Now, there are bigger areas with no trees.

I heard about kaingin, deforestation, and charcoal making in such areas. In fact even from afar, I can see occasional burning mountains especially during summer or dry season. It's sad because it will have negative effects. Looking at the mountains they look so dry.

Floods are more common nowadays. Actually, it can also lead to flash floods which already happened before in this town. People are not learning because of greed. Daang Katutubo isn't worth visiting anymore because it has lost its beauty.
